My father had broken his left ankle in two places and had to be placed into a rehabilitation center for 6 to 8 weeks. I was very impressed with the care my dad received. The physical therapy team did a awesome job, teaching my dad how to basically walk all over again. Each day he would receive a few hours of Therapy and homework to do while in his room at the rest of the day. The nursing staff did everything they could to make my dads stay a good one. I know when you have many patients to take off it is hard to be every where at once, but the nurses where always there when they where needed. The food was not that bad and some days where quit good. When I walked into Sabal Palms every day I saw smiling faces and a wonderful and caring staff. The grounds where beautiful and the center was so clean you would have thought you where in a fancy hotel. My family and I give this place a big 5 stars. Keep up the great work you all have done and thank you so much. Awesome job!

My father has been in Sabal Palms for 3 months First, he was in Rehab. Within one month he was walking on his own, had gained 12 lbs, and was coherent. What a great job this staff does!!! The grounds are beautiful, the staff caring and attentive, housekeeping is above par, and maintenance is on top of daily problems. I read the other reviews.....If you want one on one care, you can hire in an assistant to come in if you arent in town. Otherwise, be grateful to these caregivers for the job well done!! For the badmouthing, judgmental families.....take them home and care for them yourselves.....oh, dont have time? Still working? If you have time to criticize, maybe you could put that into a 2nd job to hire a private caregiver. If makes me furious!!!!!!!!!! Nobody wants to be in a hospital, but if you have to, this is the place to be.

My step mother was a patient about 2 years ago and unfortunately she is having the same issues again post Hip replacement surgery and they refuse to write off a debt that the insurance company should have taken care of, given she was born handicap and on Medicare AARP UHC complete. I am appalled that this facility refused to accept her back for rehab, She is a LUPUS patient for 20 years, No compassion what so ever. I hope someone reads this and realizes that these facilities only want to get paid. Not help another sick person. The staff took great care of her but corporate needs to offer debt relief to patients with illnesses and complications from surgery that happened 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed.

Nice nurses and employees. Always helpful . but always losing our mothers clothes and blankets even though we put names on her things. Buy nice things for her and to come and visit to find them gone and her in stained, ripped clothes that are not hers is upsetting.

I dont think theres enough space to write all the dislikes I had experienced when my husband was a patient at this facility. I am still trying to get this facility to be reviewed by the necessary organizations and board of reviews.
