STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! I am going bald because they overdosed me on Accutane and Spirnolactone - 100mgs each, daily, and I am 5/3 111lbs. They DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING HERE. They DO NOT KNOW THE side effects of these medications. They do not request appropriate blood work tests or do any bloodworm up front before prescribing you meds. THIS PLACE IS A SHAM! Its been 2 years and my hair is almost completely gone, I am now 30 years old. I planned on getting married after my acne was cleared and never will at this point. I am seeing four doctors and still have no resolve. After research and all of this work and money, it is VITAMIN A TOXICITY from them overdosing me these medications. Only Neograft at $10,000 will work now and it still might fall out, not to mention I dont have enough hair to hide the bald patch they will take. I WISH I NEVER WENT TO THIS PLACE, IT COMPLETELY RUINED MY LIFE!

I am so so disappointed... I have been going to Academic Alliance for 10 years. I love Dr. Lam. But now we will be finding a new dermatologist because of the shady practice the billing department is scamming. My husband went in to have something done, we payed the copay and then we get another $50 bill. Called them up and said that is a new fee the insurance company is doing. Called the insurance company and they said no that is not us. We three wayed called Academic Alliance and they now said it was an error on their part. Yes that was a big error on your part to lie to us and try to scam $50. How many people have just gone and paid it and not question their bill. I am so upset about this.

My son went there for 4 years for help and they provided zero help for him. He just had to come in every 6 months to be prescribed the same thing over and over. Dont even try to get a Dr to see you either. Its all physician assistants. And good luck getting through to a receptionist. Youll wait on home for over 20 mins. We are switching to a new dermatologist.

I have had two sun spots removed here, never felt a thing, took about 10 minutes, they are the best!
