I was travelling in the area and had a problem. Not knowing where to go I looked for a walk in clinic with good reviews. This one had them and the reviews were correct. I went there at opening time and was the first one in the door. The receptionist was pleasant, efficient and made me feel like a valued customer (which is not common in many medical facilities). As a new customer the check in process was fairly simple. I was taken by Bradley the PA. He was awesome ! He made a quick diagnosis, spent time to explain the situation as well as to answer questions I had. He referred me to a specialist for a quick follow up who was equally awesome. I highly recommend this FastMed location.

I went to the FastMed urgent care center in Wilmington, NC after passing out and possibly experiencing a seizure. The intake clerk was very courteous and helpful. Nurse Stacy acknowledged my presence in a timely manner and told me I would be seen shortly. The PA, Haley, was concerned and thorough. She explained her concerns and the reasons for ER referral, which I believe was appropriate. Medical transport ambulance arrived quickly to take me to the ER. While I was at the ER, Haley called to check on me...who does that? I would highly recommend the urgent care facility.

Unfortunately, I had a reaction to sunscreen sprayed on my lower legs and feet while at Wrightsville Beach. Bad blisters and swelling made walking nearly impossible. I received prompt treatment from the PA at this location and two prescriptions to treat the symptoms. The staff was prompt, courteous and attentive to my needs! I would highly recommend this location for any emergency treatments that you would need! ( I would go back if necessary, if I didnt live 800 miles away).

Everybody was wonderful here!! I was in and out fast, it was very convenient, and the people were so incredibly nice and knowledgeable!.. Especially the RN. They were able to give me medicine right away so I didnt have to make an extra stop at the pharmacy.. obviously this is not a place you want to go to often (who wants to be sick) but I will definitely go back if needed in the future!

Ive never had a bad experience at a FastMed Urgent Care - ever. If ever the need to go to the urgent care arises, I always look for a FastMed first. Youre always quickly seen, all the staff are kind and professional, and, the most important part, whatever issue brings you there is treated or resolved. This location was no different. Great job!
