I came in to have a toenail examined and ingrown removed. Before my appointment itself the doctor called me personally to confirm my appointment, i found it odd he didnt have a secretary call me but I made my appointment anyways. I was greeted by an older gentleman whom of which was very kind and personable and was the doctors secretary. A little too personal for my taste and not as professional as Id of hoped. He filled out all of my paperwork for me which I was hesitant of. I was curious as to why I was the only client and no others were in the waiting area. He informed me that Dr.Curlis likes to do a full work up of all his patients taking about an hour and a half long. Dr. Curlis was extremely kind and seemed very knowledgable of his practice. But at the same time he seems extremely timid when speaking and had is secretary(the older gentleman) over talking him when trying to answer my questions. I wasnt even sure why the older gentleman was assisting in my appointment and examination. Like i said earlier I only wanted the ingrown removed and a recommendation on how to fix my reoccurring problem. It was neat i guess, to learn the inner working of my feet and the shoes I would require through a series of several tests.....if you have time for that. I had the time so i figured Id play along. Over all to me it seemed like a very personal and awkward experience. If youre looking for that sort of thing, then this is the doctor for you, they did make me feel like a princess with insisting to assist me with my paperwork, removing my shoes and socks, and placing them back on my feet and retying them. So that was a plus.

Absolute best doctor around. Dr. Curlis and his staff are very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. They filled out the new patient paperwork for my husband, because he had an injured his writing hand at the time. They never keep you waiting and spend a good deal of time answering your questions. They are even patient and tolerant of our children. I have a toddler who cant sit still, a fussy infant, and an Autistic seven year old. If you need to see a podiatrist, I highly recommend this doctor.
