Parkesburg Family Dental was recommended to me because I am a small business owner & they offered affordable plans for those who didnt carry dental insurance. I asked for a cleaning and a filling. Initially this awful hygienist hurt me, REPEATEDLY Three times I raised my hand as she had punctured my gums. I finally had to ask if she was aiming for my gums with intent for this cleaning. Every time she touched me she punctured my gums. THIS WAS A CLEANING. I finally after the third time got up and left. I said, Im sorry but a cleaning should not HURT. ~so like a fool I took the receptionists recommendation that I come back when a dentist was available. She talked me into purchasing a "plan". It included nothing that they intended to do even though I had asked for a cleaning and a filling of a cavity. Of course, she lied and told me it did include what I was having done. So I came back to give the dentist a try. He was not bad and the new hygienist was not bad either. They used a numbing agent and I got my cleaning. SURPRISE, it was not a cleaning. They never asked me about alternate procedures they just did them without my consent. When I then got to the desk she said I owed money. I was surprised since I had previously bought the plan for $265.00 that included 2 cleanings and I believe it was 3 cavity fillings. I shouldnt have owed money based on what I believed I had gotten. However, I assumed she was right and paid. I went home to check my PLAN and sure enough they had double billed me. This office is dishonest and has hacks for hygienists. I have had pain for the past week since visiting their office for a CLEANING which, by the way, I never received. They did scaling??? Whatever that is, I asked for a cleaning and a filling. They just did what they wanted so that they could get more money. I paid over 768. to this office for them to clean half of my mouth and do two fillings. I went in there and asked for a cleaning and a filling. They are dishonest and cheat people by lying to them about what they are purchasing. I would highly recommend that no one take that risk with their money, teeth and gums. Ever. Worst dental experience of my life and I have genetically terrible teeth but I keep them well regardless Ive had implants root canals, extractions, the works and NEVER IN MY LIFE have I had such a terrible outcome both medially & professionally this office is a fail.

I am very happy with my experience here. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. Dr Reuss did a great job explaining what he was doing, and worked with me to get some work done on short notice. As someone who does not enjoy going to the dentist, this has been the best dental experience I have had. I would highly recommend.
