Possibly the worst experience Ive ever had at a dentist. Im 22, never had a cavity or any dental problems. I go there for a cleaning and the hygentist stabs in my game while shes cleaning. Fastforward the next day, and I feel this aweful pressure in my gum. It feels like I have a huge piece of meat stuck in between two teeth, and it really never goes away. I think to myself, "okay, this is weird, maybe I have something stuck in my teeth?" Nope, nothing, I flosh til I bleed. I went back as soon as possible and explain what happened. The dentist said it definitely wasnt her stabbing me while cleaning my teeth, and it would go away soon. Well, 8 months go by and I go to a new dentist cause I dont want to be stabby stabbed again. I have the new dentist use a high powered water pick to dig into my gum and see if its a foreign object or food. He finds nothing and says its most likely the highly skilled hygentist at Hamburg Family Dental gouged my root and thats what causing this pressure in my teeth. Theres no easy way to fix it other than a few expensive and painful procedures to polish the root back out while Im numbed. Theres not really any way to prove it since he cant see much on my xray, so I cant go back with evidence. STAYFAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS YOU CAN. TL;DR: The hygentist stabbed my gum, gouged my root, and now Ill always feel like I have a huge piece of steak stuck in between my teeth.

If you are looking for a new dentist I highly suggest you do NOT go to Hamburg Family Dental. The staff is very unprofessional; the receptionist is very disrespectful! They will lie about your insurance coverage. They will set up an agreement payment plan and then secretly send your bill to a collection agency. Bad staff, bad business! They love to lie, cheat, and steal from there patients. If you are thinking about Hamburg Family Dental located on 132 south 4th st hamburg pa, 19526 as addressed on this Google Page then I can assure you to not waste your time on there poor business and poor staff they are one big, fat disappointment!

Good Job! Had a defective bite with only two teeth doing all the chewing. I have a very unusual bite. The two teeth problem was due to aging with five implants due to a softball bat indecent in gym class back in the early 60s. I figured a new cap was in order. But with a little grinding and fitting everything turned out well. Two meals lunch and diner and I even forgot all about which teeth were chewing. I thing I was even chewing on both sides of my mouth, remarkable! Thanks to a very talented and easy to work with staff.

Receptionist has an attitude and doesnt listen or apparently comprehend what the customer/patient has to say, I DONT recommend going here. I was pretty much refused to be worked on because i have anxiety, even tho they claim they have multiple different ways to help and i was more than willing to try it all, they still wanted me to go elsewhere. My tech was good, but that was about it. I will also be giving them a poor BBB rating as well. Waste of time and money.
