I came in 15 minutes prior to my appointment as is professional courtesy. I filled out the remaining forms, paid my co-pay prior to seeing the doctor, sat down, and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited some more (until they called me in, approximately 2 hours after I was scheduled to be seen), surrounded by four or so other patients whose appointments ranged from scheduled to be 30 minutes before mine, to scheduled to be 10 minutes after mine. Upon being able to see the doctor, I was told that she no longer performed insertion of the in-arm implant birth control that I had specifically requested and that both her website and ZocDoc listing had stated that she performed. When asked about this, she stated, "We havent had enough time to update those yet." When asked why she did not perform a standard (and very, very common) birth control procedure, she stated, "I have too many patients want to take them back out again, and I am tired of it." This statement alone is unprofessional and unreasonable, but, moving past that, what really takes it home, is that she then told me that she would not be refunding me my co-pay for the visit if I elected to "have her counsel me on other forms of birth control," since I "had selected the worst one." She then began to spout false statistics about the in-arm implant and lots of wildly unprofessional opinions of its effectiveness that could all be easily disproven with a simple Google search---or a visit to a gynecologist who knows what they are talking about and actually cares about what their patient needs. Three hours after my appointment was scheduled to start, I finally left, with a scribbled-on piece of paper towel in my hand "referring me" to another OB-GYN for the in-arm implant. I will never be returning to this clinic, and I only wish I could give zero stars.

This is the worst obgyn practice i have ever been to. They are so unorganized and the front staff is extremely rude. Dr. Varshneys bed side manner is OK she didnt do much and if i asked her a question about my birth control the nurse said she would charge that as a another separate visit ridiculous!!!! The fact i had to wait 2 weeks to get my culture tests to find out what i had was absolutely ridiculous!!! I shouldve gone to the urgent care in the same building they give me the results the same day. Waiting 2 weeks while being very uncomfortable isnt great. Since the problem i had was recurring i decided to visit an obgyn and really find out the problem. OF COURSE they didnt find anything. It was a waste of money and time. The staff sounded like it was a hassle to give me my results. I will be going to the pine brook urgent care they seem to give me better answers every time better than saheli practice. FYI get a new phone line every time i call i can barely hear the staff talk through the phone and its not on my end thats for sure. Very upset.

I disagree with the negative reviews. Dr. Varshney truly values the care of each and every patient. She is the most thorough doctor Ive experienced. This may explain others reviews who comment on wait times as Doctor Varshney does not rush her patients. Nonetheless, I do believe the wait time is normal and expected at an OBGYN practice. Patience and understandment will go a long way. If you want a doctor who is highly intelligent and takes pride in what she does then I recommend Dr. Varshney. I have developed a trusted relationship with her and I am confident her current patients will say the same.

I have been to this office 3 times and keep telling myself it cant possibly get worse. I was certainly mistaken. The pre-appointment wait time is ridiculous. If you schedule appointments it should not be that difficult to stick to that schedule. I find it very ironic that they posted a sign stating that if a patient is more than 15 minutes late there is a manditory $20 late fee, I have never been here and actually been seen on time. Today my appointment was at 2pm and I am still waiting 50 minutes later. Maybe I should charge them $20 for every 15 minutes they are late.

I have mixed opinions about this place. Unlike other reviewers- I have found the people and the doctor to be polite. They were never rude to me atleast. And the doctor does listen to the patients. But in my experience - the doctor has a tendency to recommend a volley of tests for everything, and no firm opinion on anything. Also, once the test results do come in, they never call to inform, and even when I have called, they havent gotten back to me in a prompt manner. Which is why I am leaning towards changing my doctor.

Horrible customer service and wait time!!! I have a one-month old baby who I had to leave to visit the doctor. Arrived on time, and waited almost 2hr to see the doctor. And there was only one person in front of me. 4(!) people at the receptionist desk, and none of them notified about wait time or any kind of delay. Rude and extremely unorganized, such a waist of peoples time!!! They were just busy having conversation between themselves. Would never come back and would never recommend to anyone who value their time!

Dr. Varshney listens carefully and answers my questions with great thoughts. She takes time to explain in plain terms so her patients could understand. She is very careful and gentle during procedures to make me feel at ease and minimize the discomfort of the entire process. Her staff is also helpful and friendly. Facility is clean. Dr. Varshney is a one woman practice. So do expect long wait time (45 min-1 hour). In my opinion, the visiting experience is worth the wait.

First of all the staff looks at you like you shouldnt be there, and closes the receptionist window to whisper (really). The doctor was really rough with me and didnt address any of my concerns. Rush job, and the receptionist stated that they charge $5.00 for a note to return to work (My Gosh). I will never return awful service and dont recommend anyone who wants a doctor who is concerned about the well being of their health.

Horrible!!! DO NOT GO HERE. Disrespectful staff who belittled me to the point i refuse to call them. Went in to have my records faxed to my new ob a month ago and they still HAVE NOT SENT THEM. Being pregnant and not being seen for a month and close to my due date because of their laziness. Will Have you waiting for an hour after your appointment time. Rather unprofessional and gets things messed up a lot.

I did my research prior to making my appointment. Overall my experience was great! I did have to wait a little over an hour after my appointment time to see the doctor but I stuck it out I needed to get my anual wellness check done. Anyways, when she came in to do the check up she was extremely nice and answered all my questions she was worth the wait! Its hard to find a good gynecologist!

My wife has been visiting Dr. Shalini for past 1 year and we are very pleased with her service. Dr. Shalini is a really professional and good gynecologist, who understands her patients. she listens to her patient & tries her level best to either solve or guide her patient to the right directions. She is very welcoming, friendly, & caring. I would highly recommend her to my family & friends.
