My husband and I took our dogs in to get their rabies shots about 2 weeks ago as we have been doing for 10 years. We stood waiting for someone to help us. There was two females and a male at the desk. One of the females had a customer and the other was on the phone. Once the female with dark brown/black hair got off the phone, their was a caucasian gentleman/customer that just came from the back. Keep in mind we have been standing to get waited on. The female with the dark hair said to us that she was going to get the gentleman that just came out first and then get to us. My husband ask the other young lady if there was a checkout and check in line. She said no. Well my husband ask the dark hair female why was the man waited on before we were. She had no valid or justifiable reason as to why she did it as she said that he was in there all day. We thought that we would express our concerns with Dr. Yarborough. Well he felt we were pretty much in the wrong and proceeded to tell us that he knows the young lady and she is a sweet person. He excused the unprofessional behavior. Long story short, Dr. Yarborough suggested that if we felt this issue would be a problem that we should go somewhere else and Dr. Hewitt would be supportive of the unprofessional conduct that occurred that day. He was rude and extremely unprofessional. This experience and conduct is unacceptable from the staff as well as from a doctor to be so acceptable of this behavior.

I absolutely love these guys. Always courteous & fast service. I would not & will not trust my Therapy Pooch with any other Vets. The atmosphere there make you feel like your interacting with family. Thank you guys for all you do & keep up the good work. Oh I almost forgot they also have reasonable prices for procedures. Im a disabled Veteran and my Therapy dog means the world to me, I only trust Hewitt with his care.

Dr. Hewitt and all his staff are amazing! Our dog Buddy was an emergency patient ( SEVERE hog hunting ingury) Dr.Hewitt and his staff were not only kind and compassionate to Buddy (and me as well) but they were on top of the situation quickly even though from what I could see, very busy! Thanks Dr. Hewitt and all the staff at Hewitt Animal Hospital for giving Buddy another chance!!

This is a great place to take your animals! Unlike most vet offices they are not money hungry! Dr. Yarbrough helped insure the safety of my animals without breaking the bank. They are very honest and helpful!
