Dr. Castro and his team have been more than amazing with our 11 year old bichon. She has seen Dr. Castro since she was a pup at Banfield. We were sad when he left but were overjoyed when we found him again. They took extra measures to make us feel welcome and our normally difficult dog began to feel at home (could have been the healthy treats that they gave her! Which she totally took advantage of). It is so easy to get there and even though we live in arlington, the drive was definetly worth it. You can feel that Dr. Castro and his team care about animals and have a passion for what they do. The place is clean and well kept. It has more of a personal feel and we were taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend taking your furry loved ones here!

Dr. Castro has been my cats vet for many years. Although his new animal hospital is more than 30 minutes from my house, I still take my cats to see him because I trust him and his staff. My last cat had an impressive list of health problems, and Dr. Castro helped me manage the issues. He has a wealth of knowledge and knows how to apply it. When I had to put my sweet kitty down, I never doubted that it was the right time. Dr. Castro is kind to animals, compassionate with people and pays attention to what you tell him. When theres a problem, he looks for the most effective as well as least expensive way to treat it.

Dr. Castro is an honest, knowledgeable and caring vet. His prices are reasonable. I went to four different vets before choosing him. The others were misleading, opportunistic and expensive (despite incorrect diagnosis). One of my pets had been showcased at his practice. When she goes for a checkup, she is delighted to reconnect with his staff, who cared for her before. They are also accommodating about early or late scheduling.
