On Memorial Day I ran out of my Insulin, which I desperately need for my diabetic condition. I have no insurance, so I have to pay for it out of my own pocket. The usual place that I go to is AFC-Primed at 34 Taylor Rd. The last time I was at Pri-Med, I had to pay 186$ just to see a doctor to get a prescription. The doctor at the time gave me a script and told me it was good for 3 refills. He lied, it was only good for one. So I desperately needed them to call in a script to Rite Aide across the street instead of me having to pay another 186$. They refused, even with my blood sugar over 400 and a record of being treated there. They simply do not care about their patients, just money. However, Dr. Thompson with River Region took the time to listen to me and help me. He called Rite Aide and verified the fact that I was diabetic and my Insulin intake. He called me in a script at a time when it was desperately needed. I dont really know enough about River Region to give a true reading on the type of medical care they give. But they sure have people who listen and care and that goes a long way in my book. Thank you. Dr. Thompson.

Intake nurses were great. But the back of house staff was pretty rude. I was getting agitated and trying to keep my composure and stay calm. I asked what time it was bc I didnt bring my phone with me.. the nurse at the desk looked at me and went on about her business. It slipped out of my mouth wow waste of my time, sitting here for hours and nothing getting done the nurse then waited for me to go back to my room and she said well youre a waste of my time. No I shouldt. Have said anything, but I had been patient and kind the whole time and finally got fed up...she was unprofessional. Before all this happened... i had a knock on the door and no one came in, all i heard was go to room 2 first. That was rude as well. I was referred to that place and trust me i wish I wasnt.

I walked in and wanted to make an appointment for another day and was told that i had to call a phone number to set up an appointment. But yet I was standing right there at the window and the lady refused to print me out an appointment. Their night clinic is always overcrowded, hell the entire place is overcrowed day and night shift. Some of the nurses are cool but then again some of them are not as nice. Well i guess you cant expect too much out of a health department.

Piss poor service. Call and make appointment and was told they cant help me. Ask for the dentist office and was transfered to a number that was disconnected. Tried calling back and they never answer the phone. How are this people still open. I dont get it. They are supposed to be helping people but how are they even helping people when they dont want to. Shame on the medical field

Dr. Bullard is, hands down, the best dentist Ive ever had the good fortune to see in my 60 +- years. His staff is professional in every way, friendly, pleasant, you can tell they like their work. The office is very conveniently located and easy to access, and it avoids all that traffic further out east. Highest recommendation!

Came once and was told they was unable to see me so they told me to come back at 9:15 and sti) they say they cant do there job VERY BAD IF YOU CANT MAKE THE APPOINTMENT DONT MAKE IT CAUSE ITS A WASTE OF MY TIME

They are very friendly and helpful at the walk in clinic.Just be sure and get there early to sign in.Or you may be waiting for several hours until you hear your name called.
