Worst Doctor practicing in the Altoona area. She prescribes medicine and than during the care process she treats you like a number and not a patient. Feel betrayed by her as she has been prescribing my medicine for a while now and she now has decided she is not a good fit for my needs. I feel she shouldnt be practicing medicine until she understands that patients are not numbers. She was willing to keep taking my money for service. I believe if you need a Doctor dont go to Iowa Clinics you might get Dr. Atzen and half the time you go there they will pass you off because she is always gone with one excuse after another. Health care is important and Doctors like her shouldnt be practicing medicine.

I have not been to a physician, clinic, or hospital for almost 8 years because I always hated the experience and I rarely get sick. I needed a physical for my companys insurance, I googled a place (since I am new to the area) and The Iowa Clinic came up. I had the pleasure of getting Angie as my doctor. Not only was she kind, understanding/ patient( I was 20 minutes late because I could not find the place), but she also explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. She was a great doctor, you can can tell she really cares about her patients and treats them with the respect and care they deserve.
