I have been going to RIMG group for years. My overall experience is excellent. Doctors skill levels: Most of the staff are excellent! All of them go above and beyond! They are limited with time. Therefore, if you have a more complex case (I fit in this category), you should let them know when you schedule the appointment so that they give you enough time and it doesnt feel rushed. If you are going in for a common cold, flu, etc., the normal 15 minutes is enough time. I am providing a little more information about a few doctors. I know there are so many more amazing providers here. Dr. Samuels - gave me the best/most thorough examine Ive ever had in my entire life. She is amazing! Dr. Silverman - Such a great bed side manner. He listens so well and provides realistic advise to move treatment forward. Dr. Patel - Fantastic doctor. He articulates the diagnosis and treatment well and provides research information to explain risks and the risk level of treatment. Dr. Woo - I feel like she does unnecessary tests, just for the additional money. I hate to post this, but I think it is generally true. I get it though - they get paid a lot more for an endoscopy or colposcopy than a doctors visit. Miller and Hansen - are exceptional nurse practitioners. They both are brilliant women who stand out among their peers. Dr. Mckonnen - he is a sleep doctor. The sleep study facility is very nice. He is clear about the issues and helps resolve the issues. He does need improvement regarding communications (responding to phone inquiries). I would like to see him be a little more flexible with the medications and consider transportation issues due to medical reasons as a valid reason to extend refills until recovery is complete. I understand that he does need to continue meeting with the patient, even if it is just for refills. Ability to obtain an appointment: Difficult to schedule an appointment (long wait). However, if there is a reason you need to get in sooner, such as surgery, they have always fit me in. Atmosphere: Very nice office and great location. I love that everything is in one place and that you can do your imaging next door. The downside of having a large office like this is that if you are going in for a well visit, you are sitting with the sick folks. I would love to see them create a "sick" section and a "well" section. Flexibility: I have ran late before and they were willing to work me in. Phone service: I dont have any problems getting someone on the phone. Im not sure why others have had issues. Patient portal: I agree that I preferred e-mailing them rather than a patient portal. I got locked out of mine and need to contact the billing department now. I generally dont have much time during weekdays because of work, so it will be difficult to fit it in.

I totally agree with other reviews (the ones that are saying "DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE"). This place has to be the absolutely worst Drs office I have ever walked into. My wife saw Dr and he ordered blood work. We requested a printed copy of the order as this needed to be done at LabCorp. They refused and said theyd send it electronically. 3 days later we went to LabCorp. Nothing there. After a lot of hassle I was able to talk to them and they said theyd sent it again! Eventually they realized it wasnt possible to send it there electronically - wow! They sent it by Fax. My wife went to labCorp and got the tests done. As blood work was delayed I called Drs office to make sure they have all reports before follow up. They said they have and Dr said it was necessary for us to come to discuss results. We show up and Dr looks up at computer and says Oh we are missing half of the results!! Theyll probably show up within a week!! What - why did you (or your staff) say results were available if they were not? Anyway we kept on waiting for results for another two weeks. Then I called RIMG again and asked if they really sent complete order and they said yes. Finally I got tired and walked into LabCorp and they showed me what was received - its partial!!!!! And now it has always been a week and I am calling them everyday just so that they can send partial order again but it has not happened yet. I was told Dr will have a look at what is received and reorder what is not. Yesterday I got a message from clinical side saying please call us at this extension as we need to know which ones are received so that we can order the ones that are not!!!!Unbelievable!! They have the reports and I have to tell them what test results we have. You read this carefully and you will realize that you will end up in more pain (than you had before) after walking to RIMG. Ignore them at all costs.

Calling to get an appointment is always a difficulty and those that answer the phone are never having a good day. The wait time to finally see a doctor has been over two hours on more than 4 occasions and typically is at least one hour. The nurses that screen you before the visit behave like its your fault that they have to work there. The only reason my wife and I continue to go back is that our primary care physician is excellent but everything associated with getting to actually see her is horrible. For the last visit my wife saw the nurse practitioner (who complained about our primary care physician during the appointment) then told my wife "you probably have an infection, but I dont see enough of the signs yet; call me in a day or two if conditions worsen and I will have an antibiotic prescribed." Well 24 hours later conditions have worsened in the 3 week old cold to severe pain in the ear, a sore throat, and fever...call the after hours number and get the doctor who says the same thing as always...go to the ER (cover my ass) or take some medicine and make an appointment when the office opens again (cover my ass and get more money) - why do you have after hours if you only ever refer patients to stress the already busy ER, or the already taxed 911 system when all you have to do is fill the script like the NP said he would the day before? Finally the last straw; time to find a new doctor office. The headaches and frustration and wasted time are no longer worth the 2 or 3 really good doctors...

I have seen 4 doctors at RIMG for fibromyalgia. They do not know the latest studies on fibromyalgia and claim to want to start a fibro clinic. If you have fibro understand the rheumatologist thinks it doesnt exist and it is because we are fat. Lori Shell- nutritionist, She told me no one gives individualized food plans, gave me prints from The Diabetic Handbook. When I brought up my concerns was condescending. N. Martin, pain doctor, spent an hour asking me questions, seemed to have only written down opposite answers. When I asked for no narcotics put me on them and spent a week telling me I said things I never said by email.Would not talk to me on phone. L. Simchowitz, rheumatologist who kept saying "in a year youll be a new woman..." Started out great but ran out of ideas, would not listen to my suggestions for fibromyalgia, and couldnt even remember what drugs he put me on. Sent me to pain management instead of still looking for causes or new fibro drugs. Kept telling me if I just lost weight... I was skinny when fibro started... oh, and thought I could cut cymbalta cold turkey. Sleep Doctor, good but day staff at sleep clinic rude in fitting masks
