Dr Patel is great as well as most of the assistants.. I dislike dentists..I cancel I do everything possible to not go and when I do I sometimes change my mind.I never got work done without gas or someway to relax me due to my extreme anxiety of the dentist..but her assistants at port Arthur smiles and Dr Patel made me relax before and stay through the procedures without freaking out..and when I had an infection due to fault of my own the office called to check up and said Dr Patel will probably call you and 2 mins later there she was checking up on me called me in antibiotics gave me instructions and said will talk in a day or so and see how you are doing: ) I never had a dentist that truly made me feel like they honestly care and she does they do...thank you Dr Patel and port Arthur smiles...

7-1-15 i had my first appointment with them, before i used to go to twin city deltal pa located 3707 twin city hwy port arthur tx 77642 and i had a very bad experiance with my son and i was looking for a new dentist and i found port arthur smiles located 4997 bn twin city hwy port arthur texas. they treat every one wth so much kindness they dont make your child cry and if they have to do more complicated work they send your child to a specialist so they can put your child to sleep so they wont feel pain . i couldnt find a better place to take my son. i weant to thank every one thats in there because they know why they got the career may god bless you and they know what their doing. att paola a llanes

Got me in the first appointment after I broke my crown. Front desk was not friendly and very unorganized. Went to the back explained what was wrong and the assistant finally understood and dentist came in. Dentist explained to procedure and said she could do a temporary fix and to come back. She then left and I sat there for over an hour. Finally I asked how long the dentist would be and assistant came back rudely and stated my procedure would take approximately 2 hours and that I needed to reschedule. Eboni then came in and put a temporary filling which fell out as soon as I got home. Never going back. Very disorganized and no one is on the same page!!!

Dr. Thakkar performed my complex root canal surgey. First, I am usually an anxious dental patient but his calm and friend demeanor immediately started to put me at ease. In addition, his working space is in a spacious office which kept me from feeling closed-in during the procedure. Most important of all, I only needed two numbing shots instead of the several I usually receive. Why? Because he actually took the time to chat with me and wait until the first shot took effect in order to make an accurate judgement of how many additional shots were needed. Port Arthur Smiles is my preferred dentist office from this point forward!

Was skeptical about trying this place at first but was very pleased with the friendly receptionist and staff there. They made me feel welcomed and treated me as a patient, and not as a payday. The dentist was very kind and gentle with the work he performed and when evrything was said and then I indeed left with a smile on my face. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate this business an 11 for exceeding me expectations and reminding me how a friendly staff and good business ethnic can go a long way in making the chore of following up dentist appointments something enjoyable.

Wlith my dental problems everything was explained to me and a plan to get my teeth in good shape. I have every tooth in my mouth and want to keep my smile. I had bad situation at another establishment prior to this visit. Dr Madan is great and explains everthing in logical way and her staff is very friendly. I plan to continue my treatment with her until I am on the road to keeping a perfect smile from Port Arthur Smiles:)) I would recommend Port Arthur Smiles- thanks guys continue to do a fantastic job. My girls came to Port Arthur Smiles and they absolutely love this facility. The doctor was very kind and great with the kids. Two of my girls got fillings and the assistant and doctor made them feel no pain and they were not scared of the needle. Great facility. Very easy to schedule an appointment. My girls loved their toothbrush packs and the prize box is a plus for the children. My girls cant wait to get their next check up!

I have never been to a dentist office more friendly than this one. They are very courteous.... seriously everyone there! And they are willing to work with you. They gave me a detailed list of the work my daughter and I need done, told us upfront how much we would be charged and are working with us to schedule the most important things first to progressively get the work done that we need. I am very impressed.

Good customer service, great receptionist work with you to make time around your schedule, and good decent prices! 10/10 would recommend if you ever need to get your teeth worked on! Elisa helps her patients with whatever they need and aside of that she does an awesome job! Doctors and assistants both work with the customers to provide them with the best dental experience there is.

One of the best dentist offices to go to in the golden triangle, great staff, clean, and didnt take long to go in and come out. This is a place you should really go and check out if you need to have any kind of work done. Been coming here for my past few visits and all my visits have been a good experience, Noemi has taken care of me and she is awesome!

Need to do a better job for scheduling. They should not expect people to wait 3hr delay Front desk should inform patients about delay by phone at least 1 hr before appointment and ask to come later when expected. Update: I increased rating from 2 to 4 I requested copy by email for my xrays and they were very cooperative and quick in response.

We were neither greeted or smiled at or addressed by name. Unfriendly. Not helpful. They didnt educate on proper care and habits. They put fluoride treatment on her teeth and didnt offer her the opportunity to rinse it off. Not coming back. I called another dentist office while I was there for her six month follow up.

Had a very good experience at Port Arthur Smiles. They had a very friendly staff and Dr. Pooja was absolutely wonderful. I had my teethed cleaned by the hygienist, and she did a great job, I would definitely return and refer to port Arthur smiles.

This place is awesome. My husband and I live in Houston and was downfor a wedding when he lost his front crown. It was a Saturday and alot of dentists offices where closed. The staff here was happy to get him in and they are very friendly.
