On average I have to wait a hour or more for visits even when I have had an appointment that were scheduled over a month in advance. One time I had the first appointment of the day and was waiting for the office to open after they opened I sat down and waited over 45 min to be seen come to find out when I finally got back to the room one the the nurses friends had brought their child in the back door but was running min late so instead of seeing me at my scheduled time they were siting around waiting waited for her even though she didnt have an appointment. It also takes me over a week to get refills on prescriptions because the person who writes that type of prescriptions doesnt come to the office every day. They also had me go and have blood drawn when the results came in they have one of there nurses call me up and tell me that there is something wrong with the results and that I need to come in tomorrow but at the same time couldnt give me any information. Come to find out that his cholesterol was higher then it should be not high enough to be considered high but high then it should be. Which I had already talked about with the doctor. The last time I went they had lost my kid records and I had to refill out all of the new patient records.

Well, I wasnt planning on writing a review until I read this other review. That review appears to be written by a non-English speaking person with about a 5th grade education. If you cant type a simple paragraph and sentence, then you should really avoid broadcasting your opinion on the internet. That being said, the wait times at Dr. Tans office are pretty long, but generally when being seen by the Doctors, they tend to take as much time and answer as many questions as you might have about your childs health. I get as angry as the next person about having to wait at least an hour when I took off work for an appointment at 4:00, but Id much rather wait that hour, than to be shuffled in and out of an office by a Doctor with no compassion or interest in his / her patients.

Our children have been patients of Dr. Tan for over 13 years. The school nurse called for Dr Tans office to fax paperwork for our children to be able to take their asthma medicine at school. We were then informed that our kids had been discharged as patients because we owed $23. How ridiculous and petty. Shes gonna get her $23, but will never have our business again. Ill take my insurance and kids elsewhere. It was coming anyways. Her office has gone downhill over the past few years.

As a paramedic I understand wait times. The thing that makes this office awesome is they never leave you confused or with questions. They spend the time and you dont leave till you are satisfied with results. The staff is amazing and I have zero issues with the care my child gets. That takes a lot coming from me because in my profession Ive seen the best and worst and Im very picky with my childs healthcare.

Front staff does not acknowledge you, and will let you standing at the window for a long time. Until they saw a line forming they finally made eye contact. Staff is not polite, and talk very loud to you from far away allowing the rest of the waiting room to hear them.... By appt. only, meaning my child needed to be seen within the same day due to a bad cough and I was made to wait until the following day.

I love Dr. Tan and her nurses are the best! She actually cares about your child and sits down and talks to you. I never feel like she is rushing. I have nothing to complain about. Every time i have called them in an emergency to get in, i get in that day.
