This past weekend I took both of my dogs for their annual check up on a Saturday morning. All went GREAT as usual. I got home and my little dog wasnt feeling to well so he curled up to take a nap. I just figured that he had long morning since he had just gotten his annual shots. Well when he woke up about 11:45 he had 2 little bumps on his nose. I wasnt too worried but just in case I called the vet since they were still open. They asked if I could bring him back because it sounded like he might be having an allergic reaction to his vaccinations. I said Id be there as quick as I could but it would probably be after 12 which is the time they close on Saturday. They of course said no problem, WELL WAIT FOR YOU. When we finally got there my poor little dogs nose had gotten so swollen and and his eye was swelled shut too. They took him straight to the back for a benadryl shot and made sure everything was ok. There was no extra charge either, even though they saved us a ton of money from having to go to the vet ER or something. About 15 minutes later, they brought him out holding him like a little baby. He look a bit better already. Poor little guy!!! The staff is ALWAYS very kind and welcoming to us when we come in. They always love on both of my dogs as if they would their own dogs. I got a phone call Monday morning asking how my dog was doing. Needless to say hes doing great and was back to his normal self by Sunday morning. This vet clinic always goes above and beyond and we love taking our dogs there because we know they get the best care!!! Thanks VitalPet!!!

Ive been going to Eastex Vet Clinic for over 20 years and every experience has been great. There have been many doctors through the years and all have been caring and knowledgeable. For the past couple of years weve been seeing Dr. Rubio. He really knows his medicine - both anatomy and physiology. He is careful with my finances and always discusses the cost with me prior to conducting lab tests, x-rays, procedures, and etc. My dog has been with me for 8 1/2 years and he is my friend and constant companion. My dog trusts Dr. Rubio and responds to his care and I really appreciate Dr. Rubios gentle ways with him. I cant even imagine why someone would ever have an issue with Dr. Rubios manner. Also, the vet technician, Cissy is a wonderful animal person and my dog and my cats all love her. I am very thankful that I have a place to take my precious animals where I am confident they will be well cared for.

I found VitalPet by searching thru pages of reviews for vets in our area. We had already been disappointed, let down and made to feel dumb by two other vets. I took our dog in just to visit with the vet and see if we felt at ease. We have a rescue dog that has a couple of behavioral problems and after 4 visits, no one has ever even blinked an eye at him. He is an 85 pound, lab mix. The front desk staff will let me pay and wait until any other dogs have left the waiting area so that he does not act out. I have had two emergency situations (snake bite and ripped nail) and both times they have gotten me in at 8:30am. I cannot say enough good things. We have found our vet.

We found this gem when we adopted our second dog from BARC. They have free check ups when you adopt, which is great! We loved them so much that we decided to leave our old vet and switch! Kelli Davis is wonderful with our dog. Hes a little squeamish when it comes to vet visits and her and her team were very patient with our baby. They are always friendly and it feels like home when youre there. They even mail cards once theyve met you and just add a personalized touch by having the entire staff sign it and add a nice note. Very hospitable place. This truly is a great facility!

I have been taking my Dogs and ferrets(when Dr Key was there) there for the past 7+ years. The staff has always been very courteous and helpful. HOWEVER I will NEVER take another pet of mine there again. There is this Dr. Rubio there that has the WORST bedside manners of any Veterinarian I have encountered in my life. Thank you Dr. Rubio for opening my eyes. The Parent Company of EastTex Vet Clinic loses my business today and I feel that the incredible overturn of staff their has hurt there business in my eyes. Good riddens East Tex.

Professional and caring and they are easy to talk to. I came to them after researching him because something just wasnt right about the vet I was going to for many years. They instructed me on something that for years was wrong they did the proper test on my baby boy my 13 year old crippled baby boy and Im so happy that they did I looked it up and they were completely right the other vet was not doing what they should have been doing. Theyve done so much for my little puppy dog and just the last month. Thank you VitalPet

I was extremely happy with Dr. Buck and the staff at this Eastex Clinic. My 10 year-old dachshund was in extreme pain and they got me in quickly for an exam, even as my first visit. Dr. Buck described the possible problems and prognosis in detail. They were very sweet to Jesse the entire time through doing an x-ray and IV medications. Dr. Buck spent a lot of time reviewing the x-ray film with me and telling me the best course of action. Everyone in the clinic was really nice and caring. 5-star service.

We are the Cantu family They are awesome people that work there as a great team. We took our little tea cup chihuahua ( Little Bit ) there Jan. 2nd & 3rd , 2017 & they took very good care of her. she is fighting parvo & hook worms lets keep her in our prayers. we wish they had some one that can monitor over night but i guess they dont have anyone available that works after hours. so we have to take her home. again asking for prayers. Such a wonderful, friendly and caring staff. Dr. Sheila Gilbert and her staff are terrific with my little puppy. I have taken him there since his very first checkup visit and also for boarding. They are always prompt and courteous. His last visit was getting neutered and the surgery went without a hitch. My puppy came home that day ready to play and acted like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend Vitalpet-Eastex in Humble and Dr. Gilbert.

I recently took my dog, Susie Q, to this clinic and am very pleased with the service she received. She was very taken care of in a prompt manner and the clinic staff was very pleasant. They were very quick and seemed to have taken care of Susie Q, as I could tell she was happy. I will continue to do business with this clinic and will refer them to others. Thank you staff!
