From our email- 1/19/2014 I am very glad to know that you are there for our pets when we need you. Thanks !!!!!!!!! 1/15/2014 I really appreciated the prompt serviceand friendly staff. Everyone was very understanding and helpful during such a stressful visit. The immediate attention to my cat, willingness to speak with his regular vet on history, and extremely quick treatment were all excellent. They saved my cats life and for that I will be forever grateful. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others. Thank you. 1/3/2014 I have always had excellent service from this clinic. We appreciate you. 1/18/2014 We really liked Dr Beard! 1/29/2014 Great vet and receptionist! 1/5/2014 Right now we are in sort of a wait and see mode. I got him some of the Sr canned dog food and he seems to like that ok. He lapped up a little water but not much. He has been snuggled up close to me all day. Not moving around much like he usually does. Maybe - just maybe- when he starts eating a little more he will get some of his energy back. But who knows? I do appreciate your examining him. All I can do now is hope for the best. 1/19/2014 I took my cat in because I suspected he had a uti. I expected to wait awhile, but we were seen within 10 minutes of arrival. The staff were all very kind and handled Duke very well. The vet confirmed uti, gave Duke a shot to help his pain and antibiotic tablets. This was yesterday morning, and my cat seems to feel much more like his normal self already. I was very happy with the care and concern they gave my little guy. 1/24/2014 I appreciated the follow- up phone call that I received the next evening. 1/4/2014 The staff was very nice and sweet to Sadie. They gave us good information. We have been there before and will continue to come if needed. 1/13/2014 We followed your instructions to the letter when we got home. Bugsy took the first three doses of the laxatone with eagerness! But without results. Then I tried the fourth dose, he refused it, I wiped a dab on his paws, and he trotted in to the litter box and left us a siz able deposit! So we wiped his feet clean. He seems now to be fully recovered. Eating, drinking and eliminating normally. Thank you for your patient and kind concernin treating our beloved feller. 1/16/2014 It is so nice to have this service when you need it most. 1/23/2014 I am very grateful for your staff being there after hours. I was very concerned about Coy. Dr Mead made me feel more comfortable that it wasnt anything serious. Thank you for being there. 1/15/2014 The staff was very friendly and helpful

Over the last year, weve become frequent fliers at the Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic because of aging pets. We took our 13 year-old standard poodle there a year ago and she was very well taken care of by Dr. Mead and the staff there for a number of evenings and weekend days. We found the care to be excellent and the compassion of the staff amazing. Our dog passed away after being diagnosed with cancer, despite the fact we even tried human chemo drugs that were administered by our local vet and Dr. Mead at the Emergency Clinic. Last August, our 12 year-old standard poodle woke us up in the middle of the night pacing and crying and we never hesitated to head to Tyler Animal Emergency Clinic. Fortunately Dr. Mead was there and with her quick assessment and call for surgery saved our dogs life. Because of several problems not caused by the surgery, we transported her back and forth between our vets clinic and the ER every morning and evening (and weekends) for a number of days and we found the care to be outstanding. Had we not had the ER as an option, our dog would not have survived and we wouldnt have her around today. Our most recent visit with the 12 year-old was Saturday, March 22, 2014 when she woke us at 5:30 a.m. with difficulty breathing. We once again had the good fortune of having Dr. Mead and her staff greet us at the door and quickly diagnose and treat our baby and she is doing great once again. I cannot imagine life without this clinic for after hours and weekend emergencies.

Had the misfortune of having my pet at this location. Originally he was carried to Banfield and was diagnosed with pancreatitis. Banfield had us transfer him to this clinic for overnight observation. When my wife called to check on him she was treated very rude by on of the techs. We were told that he had urinated in his cage( which he NEVER does) they didnt take him out of his cage to go potty at all. He has held it for 12 plus hours while we were at work. Upon arrival I expressed my irritation to the receptionist and she went and got the tech to talk to me. When she approached me she was very agitated, came across very rude and put out that I would even ask any questions. She was extremely rude to me and refused to discuss the issue. After looking at his paper work he had urinated in his cage several times through out the night.i know he was on a i.v. but they can still take him out. Banfield did several times. They also placed him in a muzzle because he supposedly snipped at someone, they lied to us and said Banfield told them he always did that at their facility. He has never been aggressive unles you are mean to him. Banfield loves him and looks forward to his visits and the groomers there love him. Looking at the other comments this kind of treatment appears to be a common theme, and no one at this facility cares about remedying the issue.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with this so called clinic. Let me first mention a warning to all who may go here for their pet in Tyler... Make sure you go through an itemized breakdown of costs associated with everything the doctor does. The doctor is VERY pushy and before you know it, youre well over $500 in debt. He is quick to make judgments and even quicker to give shots and pills. Unfortunately Tyler only has 1 emergency clinic for animals, if you can, I would recommend driving ANYWHERE else, even other cities, just to get to another clinic, or wait until morning and go to your normal vet. The visit: After calling on the phone and describing symptoms, they made it clear that this is a life threatening condition and must be treated immediately, or so they say... I truly believe this clinic is out to steal money, they do not care about their customers one bit. If my dog gets seriously ill, Ill drive to DFW before I ever go here again. Worst investment ever.. Oh and did I forget to mention, after all that headache and 2 hrs wasted...THEY GAVE ME NO CLEAR DIAGNOSIS and did not know what was causing the symptoms..Google taught me more about the symptoms then this crappy vet. Oh well, you have been warned! 1 star for the friendly receptionist. 0 for the clinic.

My furbaby went to our regular vet yesterday morning to be neutered (this is in no way a negative reflection on them thus far theyve taken excellent care of my cat). I picked him up later in the afternoon and a couple of hours later his incisions were looking pretty bad and he was obviously uncomfortable. We called our regular vet to see if there was an emergency number and it sent us here. We called and made the decision to take him in. Within 5 minutes of arriving the vet had checked him out and explained the problem. They sedated him and within an hour had his incisions looking much better. He was much more comfortable throughout the evening. As of this afternoon he seems to be returning to his normal self. I was very impressed with the positive attitudes of the staff and the level of care they took with my baby. They were as gentle as they could be given the circumstances. Price wasnt an issue we just wanted him comfortable but for it being an after hours clinic the price was MORE than reasonable. Thank you Dr Alexander and your staff for taking care of our little guy and putting our worries to rest.
