I would give this place zero stars if I could! While At the end of my first pregnancy with my first baby, their doctors and nurses refused to believe I had preeclampsia because even though I continued to show protine in my uruin as well as had excessive swelling, my "blood pressure was not high enough". My blood pressure has ALWAYS been low, and since coming to their office I have always displayed low blood pressure. So when my blood pressure looked "normal" to Them, in my case it was high. Did anyone even dig enough to find that out? No. It was right there in their records. After demanding a 24 hour urine test, and it coming back with my numbers at 12000 and something, (extremely high) I was called into The hospital to get a nom stress test and was then induced. Everything with the labor was fine. After words I was so sick and my blood pressure was so high I had to be put on magnesium to keep me from having seizures. The magnesium knocked me out and the first week of my sons life couldnt even hold him in my hospital bed without falling asleep. I got zero bonding time with him his first week of life, because the American fork Valley OBGYN doctors were negligent with my care. If they would of caught it sooner, I would not of been so sick. With my third baby, I had passed out while shopping, after being told by the paramedics that were called that I needed to follow up with my OB that day, I called and had got in. While there I waited over 1.5 hours in a small room in the back, to see a doctor. The doctor on call was at the hospital delivering a baby. I just wanted to see if my son was in distress. I didnt care if it was the nurse, or a midwife who checked. I just wanted to make Sure my baby was okay. Thats it. I just wanted to be checked. Instead after the 1 and a half hours of waiting for a doctor I was redirected to the hospital, with still No tests or answers over two hours later the L&D checked me. What a joke! Not to Mention the nurse phone line is never never open. Ive had to wait up to 45 minutes all To be sent to their voicemail, also keep in mind it could take more than 2 days for them to call you back, just to answer your question.. Oh and dont ask about medical files.. all of my exams I had done with my first are long gone. Last month I had a nurse mention to me (from Provo Valley OBGYN) that I had an abnormal Pap smear come up when I was pregnant with my first.. 6 years ago. I was never told this. The nurse seemed concerned but when she dug deeper, she could find no record of me EVER having a Pap smear, Only a note that I had an abnormal pap results. But no record of even getting a pap was in my medical file. Seems like something is a little off with the way they work there. My mom also saw the Valley OB When she had her hysterectomy taken care of by one of Their doctors. When she stared gushing green mucus shortly after her surgery, she made an appointment and was told by a doctor to go home and get rest, and then one of his nurses made a comment about her just needing some TLC (Tender Loving Care) After coming back to get a second option a week later, a doctor finally decided to conduct an ultrasound to check her. She Had Multiple abscesses attached to her inside. She was really sick. After They finally found a doctor willing to drain her infection ( that she got from her poorly done hysterectomy) and was in the hospital over a month recovering and draining more and more infection. I was 6 at the time. It could of taken my mother from me at just 6 years old, because of the negligence of this medical facility. Lucky she improved and got to come home to her 4 kids and husband. If she wouldnt of come home, that would of been reason alone to sue the crap out of this lazy business. I will never go back. This business is run by money hungry doctors who care nothing about their patients well being or health. I highly recommend against this joke of a place.

I had an emergency last year because of a doctor from another office and Dr. Lamoureux was amazing to get me in and watch over me till I was doing much better. The front office rescheduled me for a one year appointment for a check up last December, I HAD the card with the date and time. When I went in last week, the front office girl said they NEVER schedule a year out, they are only allowed to schedule a month out and I was wrong, the card was only a reminder for me to call in for an appointment, even though there was a TIME for my appointment on the card, she was adamant I was wrong. I asked her when could I get an appointment then, she said it would take several months to get into see Dr. Lamoureux. I said, can I make an appointment then, she said no, they dont have the schedule approved with yet, WHAT! I could go on the cancellation list and they will text when an appointment is available and the first person to call gets that appointment. ARE YOU SERIOUS!. She told me to call next week to see when I might be able to get an appointment, but it will take quite a while. Ok, so since it was your office that messed up on my appointment, I had to take work off and go down there, I should get another appointment sooner. I tried to call back today at 4:24 and got the recording the office was closed, wait a minute, it was NOT 4:30 yet. If I can find another great doctor, Im leaving. Its not worth having to deal with a dishonest front office just to get an appointment!

I have always had a positive experience once I actually get to my appointments for AF OBGYN, and the doctors and staff are always accommodating and kind. That said, the customer service here has been so horrible, that I am switching providers. The task of working through their phone tree and trying to schedule appointments has been a big enough of a headache that I have been looking to switch OBGYNs. I have been hung up on more than once without notification or explanation (could be possibly the phone drops) but they dont bother to call back and chances of getting through to them again means youll wait another half hour. I have had them schedule appointments before only to find out that the doctor they scheduled me to meet with couldnt actually do the procedure. Many times you can sit on the phone for over a half hour before being sent to an answering machine. AF OBGYN clearly does NOT value the time of their patients. I am switching to a new OBGYN and would suggest to anyone looking for an OBGYN, not to use AF OBGYN if you expect your health providers to be conscientious of your time.

This office is the greediest, most impersonal, joke of a place Ive ever witnessed. my wife and I have been on the same insurance since the day we walked into the office. The SAME INSURANCE. We spend 9 months doing appointments here, we get a date scheduled for induction, we are 4 days from the induction date and the office says "oh sorry the hospitals we deliver at dont take your insurance youll have to find a new OB and deliver at a different hospital...... SERIOUSLY!?!? Why are we wasting our time here if we now have to find a new OB and schedule a new induction date? This is only one of the many problems we have had with this place, we have had appointments scheduled over the phone that they never recorded, at the time of the appointment we have shown up only to have them say an appointment was never made. We have had doctors show up to appointments asking if we had done a strep B test yet, the very test they themselves did 2 weeks ago. Its a joke, this office is terrible, and I recommend anyone thinking of going here to turn the other direction and look somewhere else.
