DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE. Ive had a few pets over time, and visited a few vets, and this was the only BAD experience Ive ever had with one, and one of the WORST customer service experiences Ive ever had in my life. If you dont already know what a BAIT AND SWITCH is, then you are about to find out. I rescued my little feline baby boy, and naturally began a search for highly-rated veterinarians in the area with good pricing, for a one-time visit for all necessary shots and vaccines. I called several places, and Universal Animal Clinic told me it would be $130 for everything he needed. When I arrived, I reconfirmed that it would be $130. While in the room with the doctor, near the end of the treatment, he stated that he does not do everything needed in one visit, and that I would have to come back two more times. This is where the story really begins. I specifically asked, because I was told that it would only require one visit, if I would be all paid up for everything on that day, and just come back the two extra times to receive the services already paid for. He said yes. THEN, upon checkout, I was informed that, because a feline AIDS test was administered, the bill is now $165. I sighed, and was like "okay... but Im all paid up for the next two visits, right?" Again, I was told yes. I went there today for the second visit, and my first question to the doctor, who was behind the counter this time, was of course: "I am already paid for todays visit, of course, right?" Can you already guess his answer? "No," he stated. "Each visit there is a cost, I dont take any money in advance for anything." "How much would today be?" I asked. "Eighty-nine dollars," he replied. I picked up my little man in his cat carrier and said "Thank you for what youve done for my cat until now. Goodbye." I recieved a curt "Byyyee" as I walked out the door. I called, once I was home, to explain to the vet tech that had been standing there at the time, why I had abruptly walked out and why I was so upset, and she stated that a cat needs 3 visits, and thats just the way it is, and each visit costs more money, and also that I may not have understood. I explained that I am very thorough, and reconfirm things several times, ESPECIALLY when it comes to money, and she snidely retorted: "Well, sorry. Youre more than welcome to bring your cat back and pay for the visit!" DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your animal to this office. They care about money more than they care about pets. Well... except for the younger African-American man that was there on my first visit, I must say. This vet-tech was kind and polite, and more importantly, an animal enthusiast. So, with the exception of him, this place is just a giant hairball in the throat! Thank you for reading.

Unbelievable service... We found our dog laying rigid with labored breathing. There was no doubt in our minds she was dying. When we got her to Universal Animal Clinic she was still completely non-responsive. They immediately got us to an exam room and began checking her out. The doctor was not in yet but was called and told their was an emergency. He was there very quickly and immediately began working on our little baby. By that afternoon she was already doing a little better. By the next day she was up and walking again and was able to come home with us. We still are not sure what happened but the doctor thinks it was either a stroke or some kind of toxin that she ingested. Everyone and Universal Animal Clinic was so friendly and informative even though we called many times while she was there everyone we spoke with was kind and thoughtful. The staff seemed as happy as we were that she was improving. Dont trust anyone else in Orlando with you pet. Not only were the prices fair I truly believe that any other VET would have just recommended putting her down. Thank you so much to the entire staff of Universal Animal Clinic.

We consider ourselves lucky to have Dr. Khanna as our vet for past 14 years. His experience and knowledge is excellent. He has always correctly diagnosed problems with our pets Max, Sam and Tyson. He answers phone even during middle of night whenever our pets had any issues. We lost our son Max to cancer last year and Dr. Khanna was there with us during that difficult time. Sam is 14 years old now and had stroke like symptoms last year. We rushed him to Dr. Khanna and he told us that it was vestibular disease and treated Sam successfully. There have been numerous incidents where Dr. Khannas correct diagnosis and treatment saved our pets lives. He is honest and believes in long term relationship. You can be rest assured that he will only do what is needed for your pet instead of charging for different tests as some of the clinics do. Thank you Dr. Khanna and your wonderful staff for helping our pets. Regards, Vikas and Tina

I have never written a review for a business before, but feel compelled to after the amazing service I received today. My cat who had a possibly emergent medical problem and I called around to find a vet who could see him today (a Saturday). The receptionist was able to give me an appointment for 30 minutes after the time I called. Once I arrived, the staff took me back to the exam room very quickly. The vet came in and told me he would quickly examine my cat to see if he would need to go to an emergency vet. He felt comfortable treating my cat. He explained the necessary tests and treatments throughout the appointment and let me know the costs as he went. He was very gentle with my cat as were his vet techs, who were very friendly to me and my pet. Overall, a great experience!

Dr. Khanna really does care about the animals he cares for and is upfront and honest with his treatment plans. He wont nickel and dime you by suggesting unnecessary treatments or tests. When my dog was very sick, he found the best plan of action to treat him and when he realized his needs were greater than what he was capable of handling at his clinic, he was straightforward about it and went out of his way to help me find a vet who could handle the situation. His staff are always very friendly and helpful and obviously love animals. Coming from Banfield, it is such a nice change to not be just a number when youre dealing with the health of your fur child!

Ive been taking my cat-child, Batman (or Fatman as the doc calls him, haha) here since he was 1lb. and 3 months old. 16 lbs later and I wouldnt take him anywhere else. They genuinely care about the well-being of your child and animals lives really matter here. I even moved 40 mins away but the care and compassion of Dr. Khanna, Angela and ALL of his Staff - plus reasonable pricing are worth the drive. On any given day, Dr. Khanna may even give you a pretty good cup of coffee :)
