Had an appointment to drop my dog off to get her teeth cleaned. They told me to drop her of by 8:00 a.m. Got there at 7:45, but nobody from Banfield showed up until 8:50. I told them I was told to bring her in by 8 and the receptionist started to argue with me. "I made the appointment, it was for 9." I gave her my name and she said my appointment was for next week. I have been working overtime for the past two months and finally got a Friday off so I could drop my dog off. I made the appointment for the only day I had off, not next week when I have to work. After making me wait for an hour, they refused to take my pet! I got home and looked on the notepad where I wrote down the information for my appointment and I had written down, "drop her off by 8:00. No food or drink after midnight. Friday the 20th." I brought her in at 8:00 on Friday the 20th and they refused to take her. Complete waste of time. Do yourself a favor, find another vet.

I take all of my dogs here on a regular basis, and I really love most of the vets here. The techs are awesome. And I really believe that they have the best interest in your pets health and arent just in it for the money. Dr. McKayla (not sure of the spelling) even sat with my very sick dog for a few minutes just to make sure she wasnt going to vomit up the treat she gave her. Shes been wonderful and most of the doctors (Dr. Betts too!) are wonderful to work with. Now, the reasons for taking away a star. The head veterinarian is not my favorite person, hes very quick to point you towards super expensive foods, he seems to know what hes doing but I just dont like getting him. The front desk staff could use a little lesson in good customer service... there are a few friendly ones but for the most part they just seem really annoyed by having to be at work. Overall, they do NOT deserve as many one star reviews as theyve got.

We took our cat to this vet with a limp and it came home with open wounds and over $400 worth of tests they supposedly had to do. This vet seems more concerned about tacking on expenses than it does about the pet. After two weeks of care with this vet we finally took her to another vet who changed the medications and she is doing very well now. The new vet did not charge an arm and a leg and he actually helped my pet! We took her to Banfield in the first place because we were on the wellness plan, which is another scam. They lock you into a year and automatically renewed it for another year without notification, so we have to pay for the wellness program for 8 more months even though I would never take my pets back to them. Maybe all Banfield vets are not like the one in Ocoee, but I have had such a bad experience that I would never take that chance.

I have had a couple of bad experiences with this location, Mostly the Doctor he has tried to upsell me on every visit. The Staff is unfriendly and they dont seem to know what they are doing. The first occasion they tried to over charge me with fees unrelated to our visit. We caught it on our bill and showed the receptionist and she took the charges off and refunded the money. The next visit the Doctor Insulted us by explaining to us that cropping dogs ears is cruelty to animals and that only bad dog owners would do that to their animals. I dont mind people having opinions but I didnt pay you for your opinion on animal rights, I pay you to ensure my dog is healthy period. Avoid this establishment if possible

I took my cat here because he had an abscess on his ear. I dropped him off and they called and told me he wouldnt let them examine him. I offered to be there and they said it wasnt allowed and he would need sedation and 2 tests to see if the mass was cancer. Total cost $418.75. They never examined him because he was in his carrier in a cage. I picked him up and took him to Piedmont Vetenary Hospital. They examined him with no problem and said they would not do any surgery while the area was infected. The visit, exam, antibiotic shot and collar was a total of $107.50. I will never take any pet here again. Lousy service and ridiculously over priced.

Ive been taking Teddy here since he was 8 weeks and he adores them! They were always kind and gentle with him. He is always excited to visit them. Sadly, weve moved to Jacksonville and we can no longer visit them, but I HIGHLY recommend them! They ask many questions about your pups health, routines and answer all the questions weve had. They always made sure Teddy was comfortable while they examined him. They would greet us as soon as they saw us! Theyre very polite and professional. Theyre the best Veterinary team Ive ever met! Teddy and I will miss you all!

I called today on the recommendation of a family member. I wanted details on the preventative care plan. The woman who answered was abrupt and initially told me to go to the web site. I asked a few more questions to which i got more curt responses, even though I told her I am new to per ownership and was merely trying to get an understanding of their program. I will certainly be going elsewhere. I am a firm believer in customer service and of the opinion that customer services is a fairly accurate indicator of the culture of that business.

I worked for this barfield and its sister branch in winter garden they are both owned by dr.daniels and I will recommend that NO ONE EVER take your pets to either hospital, they do not care about ur pets they are unprofessional , they are a dirty, nasty hospital they are unsanitary and many more things. And they only care about money their staff are worthless and uneducated. So if you care about your pet do NOT bring them to these 2 hospitals .

I have tried numerous times at a wide variety range of times to pop in for a nail trim, or anal gland care and they have never been able to make themselves available for my pet. I have been to numerous Banfields between SC, VA and other parts of Florida and have always walked right in, not here, which is a shame since I live 3 miles from this location. Done with this Banfield.

Ive been taking my dogs here for several years and am very happy with this team. Dr. Norton is a new vet here and she is amazing! She really takes her time and listens to your concerns and explains everything in detail. They all seem to truly care and I feel that my fur babies are in excellent hands with this team.

I havent even been in the doors yet & Im already upset. I called & spoke to a bunch of people that just kept putting me back on hold & wouldnt answer my question. How can you run a business like this? When you start losing customers before they walk in the door thats when it turns into a pretty pathetic situation.
