I cant say enough good things about Hinckley Animal Hospital. I wish Dr. Harris and Dr. Oscar could see human patients. Id want to be one of them. They both obviously care tremendously about my furry family members. The docs explain everything extremely thoroughly in laymans terms. That makes me feel less helpless as Im caring for my pet. I feel respected. Dr. Harris and Dr. Oscar give me credit for being able to understand whats going on. Plus I never feel like Im being rushed through the appt. The rest of the staff are all extremely caring and warm people. If I ask Jody a question (a very experienced vet tech) she answers with such confident and depth of knowledge that you could mistake her for being a vet. I could save money and take my pets to a low cost vet clinic, which Ive considered at times when Ive been low on money, but Ive stuck with Hinckley Veterinary Hospital because I know my family is receiving the best care possible.

This vet is terrible. I have never dealt with a vet that cared as little about animals as him. My last dog was a 13 year old male golden retriever, we had been taking him to this vet since he was 6 weeks old. He was never very caring towards him, but I was shocked what he did on the last day of my dogs life. We called the vet saying that he was going to need to be put down, as he was having heart failure. The vet said he was "too busy" today (which was a friday) and couldnt fit him in. Ive had to put a dog down before, and the process only takes 10 minutes. We had been giving this vet business for 13 years, and he couldnt take 10 minutes out of his day to help my dog. He told us to wait until Monday. My dog was in so much pain, and he wanted us to wait until Monday. I put this vet in his place over the phone, then drove my dog 45 minutes to the nearest animal hospital. NEVER GO TO THIS VET.

I have known Doctor Harris for several years. His clinic is beautiful, easily accessible, and comfortable. His staff is exceptional, and I felt very welcomed and professionally greeted. So did my pet, who made himself at home right away. Dr. Harris helped my kitten with his first examination, neutered him, and provided all necessary vaccinations. He treated my cat as the little person he is, and I really enjoyed his caring and professional knowledge. His staff called me back two days after my visit to follow up - very nice. Subsequently, Jagger developed an ear infection, which Dr. Harris diagnosed and treated effectively. Jagger was cured within a few days. This is the vet to visit! I LOVE Dr. Harris and his staff!

Our vet moved out of the area and we were at a loss. A friend recommended Dr. Harris at Hinckley Animal Hospital and we decided to give them a try. We are pretty picky. Our 9 year old lab is one of our children and we wanted the best. Shes also a big baby so we wanted somewhere she would be comfortable. From the first visit we could not have been more impressed. Their offices are spotless and just smell clean. They take their animals in one door and out another which reduces their exposure to other dogs which is wonderful. Dr. Harris literally was on his hands and knees trying to befriend my shy lab. He is wonderful and so kind. I couldnt say enough wonderful things about him and his staff.

Dr Harris and the wonderful staff have always been available to me for my dogs needs As a pup he got into lots of thing he shouldnt have and I learned my house wasnt as puppy proof as I had thought. Dr Harris and his staff never made he feel like I was intruding into their work when I would call about his latest find. They have always been as kind to me as I could ever want. In fact, rather than being afraid of the vets, Gunner is alway happy and excited to see his friends-no nervousness, fear, avoidance etc. He watches the shoes go by the room by peeking under the crack of the door. He really wants his turn with the staff. 5 stars NO 10 stars YES.

I cant state enough how great this place is! Dr Jerry & Dr Oscar and the entire staff at the Hinckley Animal Hospital treat our entire furry family with the best care! We live on 5 acres and I have a mama cat that is constantly having kittens. It makes me feel good to take them in to see everyone so that they can get checked out before I find them all good homes. Everyone is so caring, compassionate and loving. They are good to us as well as our furry family! If you dont go here, you need to. They are honest and affordable. Best Regards, Michele S. Hinckley Animal Hospital is the Best! Weve been going to Dr, Jerry Harris for over 20 years because he is knowledgable, compassionate and genuinely cares about your pet and you as a pet parent! His staff of assistants and technicians are always on top of everything regarding your appointment and the needs of your special family member. We always get a follow up call or two to make sure our dogs are doing well after their visit. I highly recommend this veterinarian to anyone that is looking for a quality professional honest veterinarian practice!

I have taken my cats to Dr. Jerry Harris since Hinckley Animal Hospital opened. He is very caring and takes his time with exams, he treats my cats as if they were his own. He explains everything very thoroughly and offers treatment options. I have also seen Dr. Oscar, who mirrors Dr. Harris. The staff is knowledgable, friendly and very helpful. They have always been able to fit me in when I have had emergencies. I could not imagine going anywhere else. I know my "kids" are in good hands! Theyre the best!

I have been taking my rescue dog, Joey, to Hinckley Animal Hospital for about 5 years now for routine annual checkups and meds. Drs. Harris and Skavdahl always take their time with Joey, thoroughly examining him and answering any questions and/or concerns I may have. They show tenderness and playfulness with my 8 year old cockapoo. Their vet technicians are gentle and knowledgeable when administering meds and answering questions. I am very satisfied with the care provided by Hinckley Animal Hospital.

I have been bringing my Shelties here for quite a few years and am very pleased with the level of care they have received. Dr. Harris and his staff are very caring and professional and take the health of my fur kids seriously. They spend whatever time is necessary on each of my fur kids and do not rush me out the door. The friendly staff follows-up with phone calls to check on their condition whenever one of them has an issue. In addition, the facility is clean, well-kept, and welcoming.

We have been going to Hinckley Animal Hospital for 16 years now. The level of care and the understanding and love theyve shown us over that time is been overwhelmingly positive. They brought our beloved Harry Potter back from the brink when we thought all was lost. They cared for Corky and Superstition when it came their time. The two most difficult days of my life were made bearable because of their understanding and my appreciation for that will be never ending.
