We have been going to Banfield since 2007 and loved going to them until the past 6 months. We would ask repeatedly if they needed to use a muzzle on our dog after drop-off visits, they said no, he was doing fine. One day, I walk into an examination room where they have my dog and they tell me they cant get the muzzle on him and they typically have no problems doing this with him. Some vets in the practice have no time to waste talking to you, theyd rather load you up on costly suggestions without discussing side effects, precautions, or directions for the perscribed medications. I wrote my complaints to the corporate office and still havent heard from them. One of my complaints that I e-mailed to them was about a conversation between the vet and a nurse I had overheard a conversation about expired medications possibly being used! Still no response. We LOVED the vet that we TYPICALLY saw...but unfortunately, with how things are now, we dont feel safe taking our dog back.

My princess has had a ear infection since she was 3 months they gave me medication and a cleaning medicine for her. I keep her ear free of hair as well. took her back here about 3 months later and she has one still they gave me medication again. Again I keep her ears clean. Everything I go here they charge me also to do a culture which I understand to a certain degree. However I have been here 4 times about a ear infection and she still seems to have one and she is 1 now. Rip off

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Tufts is the best vet ever. My dog had an ear infection and was going to another vet for months and they could not figure out what was wrong. I saw her, she did some tests and I knew that day. She answers all questions and is very understanding. She is amazing with the animals as well as their owners. I recommend her to everyone I know

I used to go to this vet, but lately everything I tried to make an appointment their excuse is that only have one doctor and can not get appointments. Not walk ins which is annoying and I think no professional.
