This the best place if your a pet parent. The staff is very comforting and truly care about your pets needs and yours. The doctor provided one on one care. They explained conditions, options, fees, homecare, followup in office and via phone. My yorkie I had infection in her teeth which ended up in her blood. That took her in surgery right than and called to update me, they did kept her over night to make sure she was stable. She recovery was short. I was going to a major chain clinic for a year and half maybe longer Id ask them why shed had a pungent oder they would state she just needed grooming more often twice a month and change in food. Suburban gave my Ginger a full recovery and shes happy and social they saved her life. I was in fear she wasnt going be with me long. Suburban is a family. And save her. They also care for my kitten declawing and boosters she came home with after recovery period there. Happy. The get so excited when we go for grooming or just to say hi. The best pet care.

I bring my dogs and cats here and they are wonderful! We see Dr. Dan and he and the techs are SO patient and gentle with my animals! One of my dogs is very large and strong and HATES her feet being touched - so much so that her entire life with me and her previous owner she had to be sedated to get her nails trimmed, but here they are so amazing with her that they can do it without that extra cost and time that comes with sedation. That same dog also had a cyst on the inside/corner of her eyelid that they surgically removed, now you cant even tell, no scarring at all! They have never tried to upsell me on procedures and medications that my animals dont really need like many other vets do. Will continue to bring my animals here as long as Dr. Dan is there! Only complaint is that the building is a bit small, including the waiting room, so if its a particularly busy day it can get a little stressfull with lots of different animals going in and out and making noise.

I have been with Dr. Ochterski (Dr. Terry) for seven years. I am a doberman owner and Suburban Veterinary Clinic has been outstanding. My babies were diagnosed at the age of 5 with liver disease. Dr. Terry worked tirelessly to help come up with answers and a game plan to give Niko and Ava the best life possible. The staff was patient through my tears, countless phone calls, and visits. Avas disease was more progressed than her brothers, but through diet and medication we were able to provide her with a longer life than she would have had without Dr. Terrys help. I am happy to say that Niko has responded very well to treatment, and will celebrate his 7th birthday tomorrow. I still continue to turn to Dr. Terry and the staff at Suburban with any and all questions I have. Thank you for all you do.

I had never been to the Suburban Veterinary Clinic prior to my experience on December 27, 2014. My pug, Murphy, was very ill. He had been battling Cushings disease and it was time to let him cross the rainbow bridge. My regular vet is closed on Saturdays and I didnt want Murphy to suffer through the weekend until Monday. I contacted Suburban and they were able to fit me in. Everyone there was so pleasant and understanding of my situation. I felt as if they had been Murphys regular vet clinic all along. I also received a sympathy card in the mail signed by everyone at the clinic. Thank you to Suburban Veterinary Clinic for being there for me at my time of need.

We had an emergency situation after my two dogs got into a fight with each other. We were seen promptly. I expected a whopping big bill, and cried when I saw that the total charges were within my social security budget. My dogs received excellent care and follow up. The VET Techs are very skilled (think Physicians Assistants), and it is clear everyone in the office care deeply about our pets. Parking in front of the office is limited, but there is parking available on the side street. The reception area is quite small so take this in to consideration if you have never been to the office before

Cannot say enough good about our experience or how impressed we were with the doctors and staff. It is very evident that they love our pets as much as we do. Very kind and honest and gentle. We rescued a dog almost two years ago that we later found out had a whole host of things wrong with him. Took him in for a second opinion about a recurring problem. Dr. Terry and Dr. Scott spent quite a bit of time with us and explained our options. They are all so wonderful. Thank you so much all of you there from the bottom of our hearts. Regina Rowan

Love kindness & compassion. SVC has been caring for my animals for several years. We have shared much joy & some tears. The staff always go above & beyond! There are so many stories to share but one that stands out is our beloved "GOAT" Boomer a rescue that had many health issues. Doc Terry performed a surgery that saved Boomers life and gave him 5 more years with us. I travel over an hour to the clinic because I know my animals are getting the best care! I highly recommend this facility. Doc Terry & the staff are best! 5 stars plus!!!

I brought my cat in to Suburban Veterinary Clinic because she became very ill. The Vet explained to my family and I, the possible issues that my be wrong with her. I left her there for blood work, and hour later he called and broke the bad news, telling me my cat had Feline Leukemia, and the best option was to put her down. The staff there were very kind and helped us along our grieving process as well as sending us a sympathy card. I would definitely recommend this clinic to all that are seeking a new Vet.

This vet is hands down the best I have ever been to. The WHOLE staff is incredibly nice and make you feel very welcome and that your pet is in great hands. I just brought my cat in because of a leg injury and they took very great care of him. My cat needed surgery and every step of the way they called to reassure my cat was doing well. I highly recommend this vet to anyone who loves their animal. Dr Scott was the doctor who treated my cat and he is AMAZING!

Ive recently just started coming to Suburban Veterinary Clinic and Im more than happy that I did! Everyone is so welcoming from the front desk to the technicians to the vets. Both my dogs needed to have minor surgeries for different issues and its worth the 40 minute drive to come here because I know Im leaving my dogs in good hands. I always leave knowing my dogs are well taken care of. Thank you thank you thank you!

Cant say enough good things about Dr Terry and his staff. They have cared for our pets for the last 13 yrs and the care and professional compassion has been wonderful. There was even one occasion where he came in late night to give emergency care to our dog. Being a healthcare provider myself, I can truly appreciate the dedication to his profession that Dr Terry has shown us.
