I needed a second opinion for my very sick cat. I chose North Royalton Animal Hospital because of its AAHA award. It was a mistake I now have to live with. My cat was suffering from a persistent sinus infection and complete loss of appetite. He is gone now, having been finally diagnosed with advanced cancer by another veterinarian. The treating vet at N. Royalton misdiagnosed him and suggested a very expensive x-ray of the wrong part of his body based on that misdiagnosis. She prescribed an antibiotic that made him vomit (a common side-effect) followed by another antibiotic that he had already been given for a month without results. These medications were liquids that made him gag and only added to his suffering. The only medication that gave him any comfort was the Prednisone that I requested. (This clinic is very focused on protecting its interests against lawsuits and I had to sign a release to get it.) In addition, there were delays in callbacks that resulted in delays in obtaining his medications. Had they been of any benefit, the benefit would have been too long in coming. When an animal is seriously ill, it takes more than expensive and often inconclusive tests to diagnose the illness. It takes an ability to carefully weigh all the data and think beyond the commonplace. Sadly, the treating veterinarian at N. Royalton was unable to do this for my poor cat and his death was needlessly prolonged. I had him put to sleep as soon as the next veterinarian found his widespread cancer by ultrasound and a whole body x-ray. My choice of North Royalton Veterinary clinic was a costly one. The charges were extremely high, but the bigger cost was to my poor cat, who did not deserve to go through all that he went through. I regret, every day, that I had made a different choice.

The doctors and staff at NRAH go above and beyond when it comes to caring for our pets, and WE feel like were treated like family. My wife and I once tried to "shop around" to see if another vet might save us money and give us the same service. Big mistake. The place was in Brunswick. We took our dog in because of stomach issues. When we picked him up later in the day his rear end was covered in -you know what- and they hadnt cleaned him up all day! Plus they were ready to check us out and expected us to take him home that way! You wont be disappointed entrusting the care of your family member to this practice.

I am new to the North Royalton Animal Hospital, but can say that I have never been so impressed with the customer service I was given this week when working with the staff here!! I needed to make last minute arrangements to board my two dogs and found NR Animal Hospital to be affordable and caring. I am forever grateful for the compassion they showed when helping me to make sure my dear pets would be taken care of. Thank you so much!!

The team at North Royalton Animal hospital is just amazing! From the first phone call in they were caring, and really wanted to help our situation. Weve been going to them for almost a year now, and I cant say Wow enough! The courtesy that they show towards animal owners and the care that they show towards the animals is just heartwarming! I only have one regret and that is not switching over to themy sooner!

Phenomenal veterinary staff and equally phenomenal care for our pets. They are the best and we trust them completely. Our former vet made a lot of mistakes and jeopardized our both our cats health. Dr. Hechko and his team listen to the fur mommies and daddies and do everything they can to help. We always feel that the staff cares for our pets as much as we do.

Way over priced. Overrated! Doc goes to the extreme for the littlest things. Dont take your "senior" dog there, they charge more for that as soon as you walk in the door.
