I had a horrible experience here. I went to get a wisdom tooth pulled, and at first I was impressed by how soon they were able to see me. But when I was in the chair and the dentist injected me with the anesthetic, I was no longer so happy. A couple moments after the injections, I started shaking uncontrollably. I asked him why this was happening and he said it was because of the epinephrine that was in there too. Ive had extractions before, and I had never had epinephrine included with the lidocaine. He said it was standard and that the shaking would subside. It did not. It got worse and worse and I started crying uncontrollably. It had caused a major panic attack and it was some time before I calmed down again. The dentist asked if I still wanted to have the extraction done and I said yes, but that I wasnt numb. He assured me I would be fine and that he would give me more lidocaine if I needed it. I wasnt numb. As he began prying the tooth loose, the pain intensified and I kept telling him he was hurting me and it was so bad I was crying. He kept at it and assured me I was doing fine. I left the office weeping and shaking, I had to call my brother to pick my up and take me to the ER because of the amount of pain I was in. I think I was in shock, because any time I would try to talk, I would start shaking even worse. I had difficulty walking, but the dentists office had no problem letting me leave in the condition I was in, not knowing that I had just arranged for a ride. It was a horrible experience and a huge violation of trust. I know that dental work isnt pleasant, but this is one of the most traumatic experiences Ive ever gone through.

My initial visit and care received from Hudec Dental was great! I left feeling I had finally found a Dentist I could have a lasting relationship with. Unfortunately my impression of this practice isnt as favorable anymore. I feel I had work done that wasnt necessary (fillings removed and replaced). I also feel as if there was some sort of bait and switch. I was told my procedures would cost X. I paid my bill IN FULL that day, only to be billed by mail and additional $500! I ABSOLUTELY HATE TO BE TOLD A PRICE. I AGREE, PAY THE BILL, AND AFTER THE WORK IS DONE BE TOLD THE FIRST PRICE WASNT CORRECT! I paid the bill at my next check-up IN FULL! After my routine exam and cleaning, I get another bill for $35! Seems my insurance doesnt cover the basics! My gripe is they should have told me that before I left the office! I didnt even get the bill for a few months and then is had a late charge! Really!!! To make matters worse, my mouth STILL HURTS!! I cant wait till my next appointment! I really want to tell them all in person to go kick rocks!

My husband & I are so happy that we found Hudec Dental in Macedonia & started coming here in Jan.2015.Dr. Gaffney, the staff & office personal are amazing & wonderful. Dr. Gaffney is very friendly,cheerful,down-to-earth, kind,courteous, outgoing,& easy to talk to. She takes her time talking to you, answering all your questions & is very gentle in her approach & technique in making your experience as pain free as possible. The dental staff & assistants are very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, courteous & make you feel welcomed.They did an excellent job in making us feel comfortable & at ease and not experiencing any pain when having dental work down on our teeth. The office manager, Mike is very friendly,courteous, outgoing & knowledgeable of all office procedures & explaining what needs to be done & what the cost will be beforehand. We highly recommend Hudec Dental in Macedonia to anyone who is looking to find a great dentist & office staff & where they really care about you & making you smile. Evelyn Dombek

My experiences at this location, under the care of Dr. Gaffney and company, have been nothing short of amazing. The docs work is excellent; but more importantly for a guy like me (who can be mildly axious!) ... she is accommodating, reassuring - but never condescending. I would take my family here without hesitation, and consider office to be contributing to the best dental experiences of my life. Thanks Hudec!

Wonderful experience along with polite staff who all seem to work together as a team. Mike at the front desk took my billing with ease and explained all my questions. Amalie the hygientist is a joy as always and offers great info to keep my teeth strong and healthy. Dr. Gaffney is the sweetest and most caring dentist who explains everything from beginning to end. Great experience!!!!!

This dental office was recommended by a friend shortly after we moved here two years ago. With four kids, dental appointments can be a nightmare, but not so here. Appointments are like clockwork, easy to get in and out. Overall, a very pleasant experience for adults, school age kids, and teens. Friendly and efficient staff, highly recommend!

They did work for me that was under warranty, fell out less than a year later and they blamed me for it called my insurance and lied to them which got my coverage denied. Then they tried to charge me to do their faulty work again. Never would use them again. This is after going there for many years as well.

Just changed from a dentist further away and had a good experience. Cleaning time was efficient, Dr. Gaffney and staff were personable and discussed an option for an issue Ive had 16 years that I didnt know was so fixable at such a reasonable cost.

All of the staff are friendly and help ease the fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Gaffney talks to her patients and tells them what to expect before she does as she is doing the dental work. Definitely the best dental office I have ever been to.

Polite staff. I was disappointed and turned off after getting an abscess within a week of my cleaning, which resulted in extraction of the tooth. Even after paying extra for the medicated treatment put on my gums etc.
