Due to a communication error with them not calling in a blood work order I was informed I would not get medications refilled until the blood work was done. I took time off from work and drove to the location to find out there was no lab there any longer. I talked to the office manager, she would not listen to me explaining that I had spoken to the doctor the previous week and was assured he would fill the prescription at least for a few days while the blood work was being done since there was an error on their part. The office manager was VERY rude and kept interrupting me and didnt care what I had to say about the entire situation and insisted that I come in for an appointment to see the doctor. I have been seeing doctor Goycko for years and over the years never had an issue with getting blood work done at a lab nor with the office staff. I have also had a problem with the front office receptionist. Over the last year the staff has become more and more belligerent and rude. I am currently changing my primary care doctor not because he is a bad doctor or his bedside manor but because of his poor choice in office staff and their poor customer service. I have no problem with the doctor he was a very knowledgeable and professional doctor but choosing a service staff is not his strong suit.

Doctor Goyco is amazing. My parents go there, and I had even told some of my friends to go there-- today changed everything. I called my friends back and told them to stay away. I had a copy of my insurance card that BCBS had sent electronically, and they wouldnt take it-- even if I emailed or faxed it. Really? Every other office has the ability to do that. It was the same card from last year. They would have to call the insurance company anyway. They turned me away from my appt, although I had taken off work and drove from Lilburn to see the doctor. I was upset and told them that I would find another doctor if they couldnt help, and they didnt care at all. When I called and talked to the office manager she said, "Did you tell the receptionist youd find another doctor? So what else do you need from us?" Very rude lady. Dr. Goyco needs to find a new office manager and call all of the people who left reviews to come back.

I have been going to Goyco Internal Medicine for the last 7-8 years. Maybe even longer than that. Today I made the decision to change my primary care physician after quite possibly one of the worst and rudest conversations with a professional (the office manager Christina) that I have had in recent memory. This wasnt the first time Ive had issue with their service, but it was the final straw as it has gone significantly downhill over the course of the last two years, which coincidentally runs in tandem with Northsides acquisition of Goyco Internal medicine -- you guessed it -- two years ago. Take it from someone who has been coming here for awhile -- this isnt the place it once was or ever will be again.

I had no problem with Dr. Goyco. I just found his office staff to be unprofessional and uncaring to me, his patient. That, I feel, is unacceptable.
