Ive been bringing my son to this location for a little over a year because this office was the only pediatric neurology specialist in the state. It hasnt been perfect, but this last month has just Shredded my patience with this office. The doctor has been out due to family emergency and illness, which is perfectly understandable, however, the people that have been left in charge give the feeling of incompetency and unreliability. When my child had a seizure and had to get his medicine increased, the emergency room couldnt get in touch with the on call doctor and the Dr . Khalids staff was of little help. When they finally did get in touch with the on call doctor he stated that he would be of no help because he couldnt access his patient files. What kind of doctor cant access a patients files when you are specifically there for emergencies?! I started to see if there was another p.n. that could see my child and lo and behold, there was finally one that had been established in our town. In the process of moving doctors, Dr. Khalids office only sent over one (!) piece of paper claiming to be his medical records detailing his visits there. This office would be so much better with better staffing, ease of refill processes, and reliable backup! Ugh!!

I agree with bottom post... Dr.Khalid has no compassion with his patients...My son is legally blind, cant walk, cant eat solid, has severe hypotonia and has been placed in a wheelchair. We went to get an update on his diagnosis and the damn Dr didnt even ask me to take him out of his wheelchair to examine him in no way... He just sat on his computer litterly coping a report that is 3 yrs old.. I asked him if my son should get another MRI or CAT Scan and he said no because my sons situation will never change but then when I went to his front desk to ask for current report his clerk told me he diagnosed him with cerebral palsy when that wasnt even on first reports... He is very rude and should be taken out of business... I like to ask questions about my sons diagnosis and learn more to see what Im expecting to go thru but he was no help as soon as I got out of there I googled it and researched it a little more... I too will look for another pediatric neurologists thats actually caring and loves his job and the well being of their patients... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... NEVER AGAIN

Worst experience ever! I am left in shock at the way this doctor has handled himself. He is very rude and sarcastic. I agree with the bottom reviews. He doesnt care for your child. Please DO NOT go to this doctor. I have complained to the doctor that had him on his referral list and he has been removed because they have had bad review on this doctor and his clinic. He also told me to do my own research on my childs condition, which is crazy. It defeats the purpose of me going to the doctor if I can get the info online?! Please I warn you all to please refrain from going to this doctor. There are other options. The other doctor in childrens healthcare of Atlanta has a 12 wk wait but it is worth it!. I also have spoken to my insurance and their will be a case/complaint open for this doctor. Good luck keeping your office open!

I wish No Star was an option. Dr. Khalid is very dismissive, unprofessional, and uncaring. He didnt listen and he ignored the facts and evidence. When I refuted his opinion with bonafied evidence, he couldnt give a justifiable reason or claim for his opinion. His disposition changed and he became hostile and aggressive. I assume it was because of his false , inaccurate opinion that contradicted multiple video evidence. I agree totally with all of the negative reviews everyone has made. I dont think I ve ever met a doctor that was so dismissive and aggressive. He never did an evaluation!

The worst experience I have ever had. This doctor should not be practicing medicine. He is rude, sarcastic, and down right cold. I have waited for 6 months and finally gotten an appointment with Emory Pediatric Neurology. I would never advise anyone to come here. Dr. Khalid does not care about your child. Just getting paid for seeing him/her.

Absolutely heartbroken that I entrusted my childs neurological care to this uncaring man. He claims there is nothing wrong with my 4 year old that is having grand mal seizures. He said that this is normal! I will be going to another neurologist after leaving his office SOBBING! Do not waste your time in going to this awful man like I have.

He doesnt even deserve 1 star. My son was diagnosed with Chiari. He told us Chiari doesnt cause symptoms and isnt even real. He was rude, sarcastic and didnt care if we had any questions. Like many of the other people said. He sat there for 15 mins "writing a report". He should not be allowed to practice medicine!

This doctor was horrible. He barely looked at my son and then told me he "probably had a twitch" when his eye was involuntarily closing. Now 7 months and 3 doctors later, he has a major yet to be explained neurological disorder getting progressivley worse.
