AWFUL experience and got RIPPED OFF! I purchased glasses from them in January 2016. Their Optician appeared unable to measure my progressive lenses correctly. They had to send the 1st set of lenses back with new measurements. The 2nd time, when the lenses were still incorrect, they suggested I go to my eye doctor which I did. My eye doctor said the measurement of the lenses was incorrect and they had been poorly ground; my eye doctor stated the measurements had to be taken with a machine and not the old-fashioned manual way. I went back to VEyeP with the measurements from my eye doctor and the request to take a machine measurement. The same Optician refused to accept those measurements or use the machine, so she measured again and off the lenses went back to their lab. The 3rd time, the lenses were still incorrect; I could not use them to read or drive. They gave me an instant headache because of being incorrectly ground. V Eye P refused a refund and acted as if I was the problem! I finally had the lenses made at my eye doctor in Addison; imagine they got the lenses correct the 1st time. I finally took delivery of my glasses in March 2016. V Eye P still refuses to refund me for the lenses; I never asked for a full refund, just on the portion they couldnt get right. I had to purchase the glasses in full up front then be faced with their "no refund" policy after what I consider their incompetence and negligence. Thankfully VSP reinstated my benefits, so I got a discount on the lenses I had to purchase from my eye doctor. Im out over $1,000 and this retailer couldnt care less. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY, HEARTACHE AND BEING TREATED LIKE A PROBLEM! Ive never seen such incompetence and lack of customer concern. If an Optician refuses to use a machine to measure for progressive lenses, RUN AWAY!

Dee, who wrote such a wonderful review of this establishment, is an employee at V Eye P. Any employer who is willing to allow their employees to post fictitious reviews online without publicly stating that they are affiliated with the company is obviously someone who doesnt care about their customers. This establishment is bland, simple and definitely not worth the price. They tried to sell me a pair of Gucci glasses (FRAMES ONLY) for $469.00 and when I went to 3 other local eye wear stores (within 2.5 miles of V Eye P) they all had the same pair for less than $400. V Eye Ps selection is boring, and their saleswoman was extremely pushy. WITH lenses (and a lame 10% discount) they wanted to charge me over $1200! When I did end up getting my glasses, it was the same pair I saw at V Eye P with the same brand name lenses (Verilux) and coatings (Crizal) for $849.00.... I also ended up getting a second pair (made sunglasses) with Crizal and Verilux lenses for $250... Two pairs of name brand glasses for the price V Eye P was trying to sell me!

V EYE P is a one hundred percent professional Eye Care Store and they carry the most beautiful and unique eye wear. The store is operated by DEE and she goes above and beyond in customer service. I would highly recommend this eye care and store to anybody who desires upper class service and the best selection in eyeglasses. They have both beautiful eyeglasses as well as sunglasses.
