Dr. Johnson and his staff are great. I have a complicated prescription with astigmatisms, Im very very nearsighted, now I need progressive lenses, and I am diabetic. His exam is very thorough, he takes the time to really get it right, and Ive never once had to return to "fine tune" my prescription. His exam is as complex as any Ive ever gotten at an ophthalmologists. I have been very impressed, and Ive been going to Dr. Johnson since 2002. However...having my glasses made there is not a quick process. It usually takes one to two weeks. This is not a reflection on Dr. Johnson, but rather the process of sending out the lenses, a part time staff, and whatever else goes into actually fitting the lenses into the frames. I think Im going to try having my glasses made elsewhere next time...but I will continue to go to Dr. Johnson for my exams. Hes always taken the time to get my Rx correct! Hes got a pretty good sense of humor, too, which is a plus.

My wife and I have been visiting Dr. Johnson for over 20 years for eye care and glasses, and he and his staff are truly the best caregivers Ive ever experienced. There is no other physician that I can say that about in my life. It takes a combination of many things - trust, empathy, personality. This team has it all. If you are looking for the WalMart of eye care, this is not the place for you. (You can actually go to WalMart or Sams). If youre looking for a group of professionals with decades of experience, the latest in medical technology, and a Doctor who wrote the book on this stuff, you owe it to your eyes to see Dr. Johnson. I should probably mention that were not related, were not golfing buddies, and Im just a paying client like all the others. ;-)

My daughter is wearing overnight lens from Dr. Johnson and my daughter and I love him! We had lot of issue and questioning about the overnight lenses and he was always willing to answer all the questions I had and cared my daughter like a grand father! It was quite pricey compared to other places but we are satisfied with the service. All the staffs are very friendly and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

If youre just looking for a fast and cheap prescription, this might not be the place for you. On the other hand, if you have complicated vision problems, a really tough prescription, or other eye doctors seem to think theyre done when they get you seeing 20/40, Dr Johnson will take the time to do better.

I have been visiting Dr. Johnson since I got my first pair of contacts at age 12. I still drive across the city for him 18 yeas later. Dr. Johnson is fast, charming, and incredibly knowledgeable. I would never trust my eyes to anyone else!

Office staff is slow and unable to explain billing information. Glasses took over a week to be ready! Price is way too expensive. I would not recommend this office to anyone.
