My husband and I moved to the town of Pleasanton in order to be closer to his work and to have medical services for our son near by so we could both go to appointments. We move alot and this is by far the worst medical treatment my son has ever received (and its only for standard medical issues such as immunizations or regular check ups). On his 9 month exam we waited over an hour and a half to see the doctor, and we were on time. From then on we were early, and each time have waited at least 45 minutes each time for his regular appointments. At his 12 month check up they ran out of a shot that he needed (and still needs). We tried to get that same shot when he turned 15 months which they still did not have. I have called this place to discuss normal questions (like when should I bring my son in when he is feeling ill) I left several messages in the past and it took over 36 hours for the staff to get back to me. At one of our appointments we saw another couple ask for the flu shot for their child, and they were turned down because the staff could not access insurance at the time. The couple then asked the price of the flu shot to pay out of pocket, which they were also denied. My husband and I watched as the very frustrated couple left the building. This office didnt even tell us that they had moved to a new building, the only way we knew this was that we live down the street and pass it often. We have never even met the doctor on our sons charts, we only have seen other doctors that come in from San Antonio to help with the caseload. If you are able to you may want to find a better place to take your children. This is by far the most unorganized and ill prepared pediatricians office that I have ever been to. Save yourself the trouble and go someplace else.

Im actually very disappointed. Weve been taking our son with no problems until one day a nurse had trouble taking out his blood and now hes scared to go. (Apparently other people I know had this problem, too.) Also my son needed to see a development specialist and we just barely saw one because they hadnt sent in the referral yet. I understand everyone has different experiences but so far, ours havent been so great. So please take consideration.

The Drs that assist Dr. Moreno were very professional. Such a sigh of relief from where we came from.
