As a loyal PEDLIPLACE client/patient for over 6 years you have RUINED this experience. Your aggressive tactics to vaccinate my 1 year old son assuming that we are parents that DO NOT vaccinate our children, despite the proof you have in your records identifying my other 2 children fully vaccinated has shown e that you are ignorant. If you had bothered to talk to us instead of AT US or perhaps do your homework and look up the names of my other 2 children that I specifically told you about, you would see that we have a delayed immunization schedule with our other 2 children due to severe seizures immediately after the vaccination and unexplainable rashes and high fevers for days. These are ALL KNOWN SIDE EFFECTS ON THE IMMUNIZATION DOCUMENTATION THAT COMES WITH EVERY BATCH THAT I HAVE ASKED FOR. THATS HOW I KNOW MY CHILDRENT ARE ALLERGIC. Even though, as parents we experienced all of those side effects listed on the immunization paper work we still moved forward to vaccinate them just slowly and carefully and they are now fully vaccinated and in the public school system. I have explained to you that we lost our first son and he died at 3 months of age and the results were not clear to why he passed away and now my youngest and last child I have begged you to be patient and his first year of life as it is vital and we needed to see how he would do without chemical disturbance. And he is alive and has suffered 1 cold and 1 stomach bug that is very normal but NO SEIZURES and NO Head to Toe Rashes. I explained to you what our goals were and there was proof with my other childrens records at your pediatric office showing that we overall complied with the immunization schedule; however you, Dr. Miranda used your position to intimidate and threaten us that we "better get him vaccinated and drown his immune system all at once" in order to make your patient care file look like you are doing your job. Your job as a Doctor is to HEAR YOUR PATIENTS. YOU TOOK AN OATH and your ill intentions were followed up with aggressive and rude actions. You have no idea what you have done to our family. We absolutely loved going to PediPlace and seeing our other pediatrician that has worked with us and has advised us every step of the way, being patient, kind, consistent and knowledgeable. I am going to spread the word and tell every Mother and every Father what you have done. I am going to post this experience to every mommy blog site and every doctor website to include your webpage so everyone will know how and what you are. Your ignorance is unmatched. We will no longer be needing your services. I had to select 1 STAR in order to post.

I personally do not like to write comment. However, after the answer I received from the secretary, I felt like I had to because, they do not want to help children when they in need- provide an option to see physician. Last week Wednesday night, my son had high fever in the middle of the night. After a taking over counter pain reliever, his fever gone down. First thing in the morning, I called the office to make an appointment. I wanted to make sure he will get checked by a doctor and his fever will not go up. But, the secretary just told me that they are booked for whole day and the doctor cannot see my son. I asked her are you sure about that, No way for doctor to see my son? Even tomorrow? She answered me you can take your son emergency if you want. The answer was totally surprising for me, because I have never heard any kind of answer from a physician before. This was so disappointing for me. I just moved from Huston to San Antonio. Every time, my son got sick and I called his physician they called him in immediately, if they are too busy on that time, they even offered before/after hours or following days as part of their policy. As a parent, I should be able take my son to the doctor when my child is in need. Office also needs to offer more flexibility and accessibility for children.

After searching for tons and tons of pediatricians, around the area its hard to have a good pediatrician. And after coming out of a awful and horrible service on ADETONA OLUTOLA pediatrician, i found Dr.Shanker very wise and knowledgeable on her career, my 4 year old loves the facility its super clean the receptionist very courteous and the nurses are very nice and kind. i could say that Im very satisfied that i found a doctor that cares for my son , AWESOME PLACE, they acomodate my son for injury of his head right away and im happy and calm that they will take care of him, PEDI PLACE is the most reliable place when it comes to my child im confident enough they will help me and my son on his health, THANK YOU DR. SHANKER and STAFF on PEDI PLACE :)

Ive been bringing all three of my sons to Pedi Place since they were infants. Theyve always been seen immediately when sick, and the doctors are always so professional. My mom even brings them from time to time and they are very kind to her as well. The nurses are all sweet and remember my boys all of the time. I have had absolutely no issues with anyone here and I am so grateful I found them. If youre turned off because Dr. Miranda defended herself then thats unfortunate that you believe she shouldve just stayed silent. This mom has a right to be upset, granted, but she took it a bit far by stating she was going to blast and knock this facility every where she possibly can. Thats a tad extreme. Take your business elsewhere and let it be.

I just read the reviews and I have to say, everyone has their opinions but the response from the owner on the latest review is enough to make me sick. I dont know the fine lines of HIPPA but I would assume that publically posting the details of how often that child has been seen in your office is on the boarder line of violations. That was extremely unprofessional and I quickly revoked considering the transfer of my children to your office. Maybe consider that before you so childishly reply to a poor review. (If you have enough good reviews, people will look past the bad ones)

I love Pedi Place!!!! Dr. Shankar has been with my little one since he was 9 months old. She is so great and always shows that she cares for your little one. Mrs. Carlos is the best! She is always so sweet and caring to my oldest son! I love that we have a great caring place for my boys anytime they are sick or need their physicals! And I love always getting great answers and advise for the concerns I have for my boys. If your looking for a pediatrician for your little one this is the place to go!!!

My sons appointment was originally at 9am but due to work I rescheduled for 1030. No big deal right? Wrong! Pulled my son from school and race to the the office, sign in all is well...Or so I thought. It is 1115 and I am still waiting to see the doctor! What is pissing me off more is that all the front desk clerks are looking at with fake smiles. This is the last time I will ever come to this place.
