This facility needs extreme repairs, forget that the doctors are great with children and are easy to converse with. I cant believe they are okay working in an environment where there is a major cricket infestation, filthy floors, and non sanitized surfaces. After hours services is very convenient for working parents, to say the least. During one of the after hours visits, I walked into the facilitys waiting area and the high degree temperature was very uncomfortable. It was jam packed, newborns, small preschoolers, and children where all waiting in the room with their parents. It was so surprising to see that the parents were okay with the heat inside the room. (Or at least putting up with it), I left immediately, for all I know, a super virus was about to reproduce. I went straight to the Tots N Teens Pediatric Urgent Care, 11019 Culebra Rd #155 San Antonio, TX 78253. It was just a couple miles west, passing 1604. What a relief! Clean, sanitized, below 68 degrees, and no one else inside. Great place for after hours too.

First of All, I was referred by a friend who says Dr. Perez is great. Our visit was not with Dr. Perez. With that being said my appointment was at 9 am and did not get out of there until 11 am, the wait was extremely long. The doctor that saw my 2 month daughter, handled her very roughly, he did not answer any of my questions. This visit was very disappointing because this visit was a milestone for my daughter and I was very excited but yet it was a horrible experience. Only to make things worst is that the clinic is filthy! The floors look like they have not been mopped in months, one of the exam room counter tops had be TAPED together. The base boards on the floor were unsticking to the wall and looked like they had mold growing on them. Not include that my daughter was not sick and they do not have designated areas for SICK & WELL visits. I am now looking for another doctor. I was extremely disgusted with this facility, I thought a medical clinic had to be clean.

Dr Gabriel Perez is the best choice of pediatrician for my triplets/children. While the office does have lengthy waits, the wait is worth it. He goes the extra mile for all my 6 children. The office after hours work for me since Im a single parent and cant take off from work to often. Dr Perez has been seeing my triplets since released from the hospital, he takes pics with them every year on their birthday, and even got them gifts this year. He has made the effort to come out and always say HI while we are waiting in the waiting room or once when my boys were in the truck waiting for me to pick up paperwork. I hope doctor Perez doesnt retire for at least 15 years so that he can continue to see my kids. (Triplets are 4 now). Dr Perez makes us feel like family, Thank You!!!

just have to say that my daughter had the worst experience when she took my granddaughter in for her shots. Dr. Leah Mercado is a very rude doctor and if she dont like her job as a pediatrician then she needs to find another field. NO parent should be disrespected regardless. Pediatricians are there to help children and not be rude and disrespectful to parents. Dr. Mercados paycheck comes from those patients she sees on a daily...regardless if the service is being paid for by medicaid, superior ins., or personal insurance. without her patients, she would not have a paycheck!!!! so Dr. Mercado needs to stop being a rude doctor. Dr . Perez is a great doctor . However , staff and PA French are not so great . My daughter had been sick for 6 weeks , with ear infection and bronchitis . French refused to referred me to a specialist, which I had asked for numerous times , due to him being unable to help my daughter . He said I was exaggerating that it was normal for kids to be sick for that long period of time . I ended up switching docs and within 4 days my baby was completely healed . Which I hated to make that desicion after going to that clinic for over 6 years but French wasnt capable of healing my daughter and continuously misdiagnosed my daughter ending up with numerous ER visits and ear infection with 3 different antibiotics within a month .

Dr. Perez is amazing. He is down to earth and very professional at the same time. He wont make you feel silly for asking questions about touchy subjects like vaccines. As mentioned before the front desk staff could be nicer. I was 10 minutes late for an appointment which obviously wasnt my intention since I had unforseeable circumstances. The front desk rep rudely announced "youre late" in front of other patients and treated me like a child. I can clearly tell time and I wasnt planning on being late. The medical staff otherwise are wonderful.

Been going here since my children were new borns I guess theres a new pediatrician there but to make a long story short took my children there to see her back in december im telling dr mercado evetything my child will need because i eent through it tge folloeing week. I ended up taking my daughter to the emergency. For not only her asthma but pneumonia as well dr prez and dr french are very good doctors and as has a padsion for their wirk but i advise that. No one sees dr mercado if your xhild has setious health issues

First off I rating the office not the Drs. The office staff can really use good customer service skills as well as tolerance and good values. They are always so rude and seem to think they are right about things and have no shame in arguing with you to prove it. That being said I have been bringing my daughter here since she was 1 and is now 7. Dr. Perez and PA French are awesome and treat her with total respect and loving care. I would hate to leave but the office staff is making it harder for me to stay.

Nice facility I gave it a 3 star alone on Dr.Perez he is a great Dr. my son feels so comfortable with him and I love he answers all my questions and makes me feel confident before leaving the office. The other two stars lacking are from the RUDE staff being the office assistance if you hate your job quit! Your dealing with worried parents of sick children. Also the other star lacking is due to the wait time, its insanely an hour at least to two hours the most Im not sure why.

I have to say that I have been taking my children to this clinic for the past 3 years and I think they are awesome. The wait can be long sometimes but the service is worth the wait. Dr. Perez and PA French are great, they take time with my kids and really care. Oh and I love the fact that if my kids get sick after hours I do not have to take them to the E.R they have an after hours clinic from 6-10 pm, I can go there right after work.
