Paient beware. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy on 7/25/17 by Gastroenteroloy of NB, I saw Dr Steven Pearce, i was given the paperwork with instructions and followed them to a T. I called my pharmacy 3 days prior to the procedure and they didnt have a prescription for me, Monday morning I called the office and ended up calling the San Marcos location and spoke to Dr Pearce nurse and she took care and called in my RX. Next 24 hrs included nausea, vomiting etc. Tues morning I show up at Resolute Hospital only to find out I was not on the schedule. I left 3 messages at Dr Pearce office and no one returned my call, NO ONE. I finally called my physician and they called Gastroenterology NB office and was told they made a mistake and scheduled me at a different hospital and called my house number, but never bothered calling my cell phone number to let me know. I took off 2 days of work and drank that nasty prep that made me ill for NOTHING, NO apology, NO call back NOTHING.I am at a loss, there is no excuse for not having the decency to call me back. If you choose to go to this office be sure you check on everything dont assume they will.

I called TDDC on a Sunday morning because I was passing blood. Dr. Deschner was on call and suggested that I go to the ER. He came in that night and did an endoscopy, cauterizing a bleeding ulcer. Their team is the best! Thank you, Dr. Deschner and Dr. Coles for always taking good care of me.

TDDC has very deceptive billing practices. I went in thinking my procedure was covered as a cancer screening only to be billed $1440.80 for the colonoscopy.
