This organization is a prime example of socialized medicine. You are at their mercy. You sit and wait. You are not a client to be served but someone that they feel that they must attend to at their time. I couldnt believe that when I ran by to drop off a specimen, I had to sign in and directed to wait until contacted. I looked up at a board that had the name and time to be seen of the people in the waiting room. I saw my time to be attended to change from 12 minutes to 17 minutes then 20 minutes. I felt that it was unnecessary to wait to drop off a specimen. what were they going to do? Confirm that the poop in the bottle with my name and history on it was mine? Or were they going to have me imprint a thumb print on a piece of paper. This is ridiculous procedure. Most labs that I have attended have a drop off point separate from the folks waiting for a test. When I went to see if I could just drop it off at the window that I had previously been directed, I ran into the comrade that said I had to wait. What I asked. to drop off a specimen? She affirmed yes. Darn, I wish that I had just dropped the bag that held my stuff on the floor and walk out. This is absurd to have to wait to drop off a specimen. Ridiculous! Communistic approach! You are there for their service than vice versa. Terrible lab!! Labs are there to serve us and the lab needs to have a more efficient plan of execution. They definitely do not.

Went to go get blood work done this am after fasting. Had to drop in three other offices to try and find Quest ( poor signage) I called Quest to see where they were located in the complex - recording of course, which was of no help. I get there and there are probably 15 people sitting around looking at their phones. It is evident I am not going to be able to have this done and get to work on time. I ask the lady at the desk if I can make an appointment for tomorrow. She says no "she is busy, she is the only one there. I can go on line" Well, if she can not help me because she is tooo busy she needs help,so she can provide some type of customer service. I will try to find another place to have my blood drawn.

I have had blood drawn three times in the last 8 months. Each time the staff has been professional and friendly. Yes, I have had to wait awhile but I have yet to do anything medical without a wait, whether at Dr, radiology, hospital, etc. I have decided that first thing in the morning is real busy with people fasting or trying to get seen before work as there has not been as long a wait if later in the day. Today was a stressful situation with the drs office not faxing orders for work needed before surgery. Kudos to Leigha and Erika for going beyond patient and kind to assist me!

I have been here several times. Yes they can be busy first thing in the morning when they open. Always fast and friendly and efficient though.
