The only reason why I give this place 1 star is because of the ladies at the front desk. Other than that, this place is HORRIBLE. I decided to get braces through them-before I knew what I know now-and it was a huuuuuge mistake! They have a traveling ortho (I wasnt even given this information until i had something go wrong at the beginning of treatment, papers were signed, down payment given, yet they never informed me the ortho was a "traveling" one),which means BEWARE. I signed up in Silverdale, and chose this location for a reason. If a bracket breaks, or anything goes wrong with the braces, you will have to travel to Fife, Tacoma, Seattle, etc to get it fixed if you have already had your appt for the week. I waited three hours in their office last Thursday to get a cleaning and my braces tightened. I was so exhausted after the ordeal. Once I got home, I brushed my teeth and took a look at them. I noticed one of my brackets was off-center. That means one thing BROKEN BRACKET-so it more than likely broke when they were tightening them since I had only been away from the office the duration of a car ride home.. I called them first thing the next morning, since they were closed for the night, just to be told my ortho wouldnt be back for another 2 weeks. Well, I had the choice to let my bracket stay broken and prolong my treatment or travel an hour away to Fife to get in fixed in a few days. Of course I wanted to get it fixed right away but who has time to take out of their day to travel an hour away to get a procedure that takes a whole two mins done? This was the last thing on a terribly long "they messed up again" list! I have had the OUTSIDE of my mouth cut by a drill because of a complacent assistant, I have always had to tell them what treatment I was in for (heeelllo ever heard of a dental chart and notes before?), I rarely saw the same assistant twice, the assistants dont even pay attention when they are working in your mouth-they look the other way, literally! Im trying to save anyone from this place. I switched to a different ortho after the broken bracket incident, spend 1300 dollars just to switch but it was weeeeeell worth it! Also, had one of the worst and roughest cleanings of my life here. The hygienist was stabbing my gums with a sharp tool and then saying "oh she is bleeding", NO DUH you just stabbed me! Beware of this place!

After not going to the dentist after 6+ years I decided to take myself into Bright Now! Dental back in Nov. 2013. Not having dental insurance wasnt an issue with them, they did help me out with that. I need two root canals done and about 6 fillings! I scheduled myself with them for every week for about a month. I got my fillings done and one of the root canals. Come April 2014 I injured the other tooth that needed the root canal while eating dinner. Two days went by and the pain and swelling increased. I decided I needed to get into the dentist right away. I called Bright Now! Dental and they got me in that late afternoon. At this point my whole right side of my face was swollen and my gums were red and puffy (I did Google the symptoms and was afraid the tooth had become abscessed) Not to mention the horrible pain I was in! Dr. Vanila Choudhry was my dentist and saw me. I had to pay for another set of xrays and the appointment for her to tell me I just injured it while eating and I will be okay. WHAT?! She then said that I can schedule an appointment with the specialist (2 weeks out) to get the perio consult and crown lengthening done. What the HELL!!! I obviously have an infection and the pain is an 18 out of 10! I practically had to bag her for pain pills and she prescribed me 10 Vicodin. So I leave with no help from my dentist, GREAT! The next day I end up in the urgent care and the Dr. there walked in and said "Why didnt your dentist drain the infection and give you an antibiotic"? I said,"Well now isnt that the million dollar question"!? He prescribed me an antibiotic and told me to call a different dentist, on who will treat me properly. The next day I called to try to get back into Bright Now! Dental, and I told them I had an infection and I saw a Dr. at Urgent care yesterday who prescribed me an antibiotic. They said, hmmmm are you kidding me, This is the way you treat people?!!! I feel a lawsuit coming...... I end up at Silverdale Dental Center with Dr. Conner. He was amazing. He said he hadnt seen so much puss come out of an abscess! I could have died, people! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS! I plan on contacting the corporate office after this review

Bright Dental, Silverdale, WA has all of their windows "decorated" with large paper posters. Advertising for new patients: dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, rinse for $29. I went in to take advantage of this special deal and was treated very rudely by the lady at the desk who was also on the phone at the time she tried to handle me. She stated that there were no available appointments until the following month (three weeks hence). I left without making the future appointment. Returning home, I telephoned the office intending to try to get placed on a cancellation waiting list. To my pleasant surprise, I was offered an appointment the very next day. I filled out the new patient paperwork and checked the box "cleaning" as my reason for the visit. The dental assistant who did my x-rays also inquired the reason for my visit to which I replied "cleaning". I repeated this (third time) to the dentist who performed my exam. Imagine my surprise when I was ushered back out to the waiting room to schedule a future appointment for my cleaning. I expressed my extreme dissatisfaction to both the dental assistant and the office manager. I was informed that the special did not apply to me - as I showed symptoms of periodontis which negated the offer. I was told that I "should have read the fine print". I responded that a good business practice would include pointing out the "fine print". I felt suckered by this outfit. I consider my experience nothing less than a clinical version of the tawdry business practice of "bait and switch". Ultimately my bad. Let the buyer beware. You get what you pay for. Always read the fine print, etc. I would never return to Bright Now Dental nor would I recommend them to anyone who chances to read this review.
