After spending the weekend recovering, I can honestly say that having Lasik eye surgery has been a life-changing experience. Being able to wake up Saturday morning and see clearly for the first time since early childhood was an emotional moment. I had to keep reminding myself throughout the weekend that I was seeing the world around me with my own eyes! I have to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr. Wexler and his team at TLC Laser Eye Centers for their incredible care – before, during and after surgery. Before scheduling my appointment, I had interviewed several area clinics and doctors before choosing Dr. Wexler to perform my Lasik. After learning of his superior skills and experiencing the kind and welcoming environment of his team, I excitedly (albeit nervously) awaited eye surgery last Friday afternoon. What I appreciated the most was Dr. Wexler’s constant verbal feedback throughout the entire procedure – having that feedback was paramount and allowed me to understand what was happening, what was about to happen next, which alleviated any anxiety that I had. I would highly recommend Dr. Wexler and Dr. Polk at TLC.

While the staff is friendly, my experience with TLC was miserable. First they abruptly cancelled my first appointment the day of due to an error in the laser used in the surgery. After rescheduling i learned that my consultation wasnt done properly and I was prescribed the wrong procedure and would have to reschedule with a different procedure. If they have issues before surgery i wouldnt trust this doctor with my eyes. Look at Clarkson Eyecare or other options in the St. Louis area.

Great Experience! Appointments on time, office staff very friendly and knowledgeable, and day of surgery was an easy experience. I would (and have!) recommended TLC & Dr Wexler to my friends and family. You wont regret it-- loving my 20/15 vision!!
