I have been going to this same business for over 40 years. Yes that was way before the current staff! I have always felt that I have been given excellent eye care. The quality of work is outstanding and I have not been disappointed in my treatment. There have been changes since Dr. Lester has taken over the business. I still feel the knowledge of the staff is excellent . Their expertise has expanded however. The variety of styles of frames is phenomenal. Shelby couldnt be more helpful as the rest of the staff is also. I receive compliments on the frames I have purchased over the last several years. In fact, I am so happy I currently have five pairs of glasses converted to my latest prescription. My old frames are not dated but still make a wide variety of statements which allows me to have fun with them all!

Best Eye Doctor within a 100 mile radius! From the second I walked in the door, it was amazing. The gal by the door was knowledgeable and welcoming. The gal at the main desk knew what I needed and very obviously works well with the others on her team to know...without much instruction, what needed to be done to get my new glasses paid for. And Shelby was the down to earth, helpful, and honest gem I need when picking out my new glasses. I NEVER have to worry about what Im ordering. And oh yea! Dr. Lester ROCKS! She has uncovered issues with my eyes that link all the way back to my childhood. Lets just say, its a whole new world out there for me and thats thanks to Dr. Lester!

I have been going to the Dubuque Family Eye Care for several years and find it to be the place to go for your eye care.The staff are friendly and make you feel very comfortable,not only friendly but knowledgeable , professional and always greeted with a smile.I highly recommend Dubuque Family Eye Care for your eye problems, they also carry a very wide range of frames and other eye care needs. Dr. Lester and her staff are excellent, very attentive and answers all the questions you may have but most of all its the place to go for high quality eye care and eye related products.

In my opinion, Dubuque Family Eye Care has evolved into THE best place in the Tri-States if you want great service and an awesome new pair of glasses. There has always been a personal touch, and a focus on detail from the entire team. The staff is well-versed and they always seem very patient and understanding (even when theyre having an extremely busy day). They always have a vast array of interesting eyewear with the latest fashions. And the optician there, Shelby, really knows her craft and has excellent taste. Very professional place ... highly recommended.

Our family loves, loves, loves Dubuque Family Eye Care. We come in every Summer from Beijing, China...fresh off the boat...literally and see Dr. Lester, Shelby and all the staff. They are always SO kind to us and we are SO jet lagged...I dont even know how they can deal with us. They manage to accommodate us in our pathetic state and make our eyes as perfect as they can be. We wouldnt go anywhere else. If there were more than 5 stars for this review, wed give it to them as they are all amazing.

I just recently started going to Dr Lester and Dubuque Family Eye Care, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place where they truly care about your eyes. Ive had dry eyes for years and gone to other eye care specialists, with no relief at all. Dr Lester immediately put together a plan for treatment and I feel very confident that my eye problems are going to be a thing of the past. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional.

Her proactive approach to eye care has caught issues that if left untreated or not monitored, could lead to bigger issues and sight deficits. Her perky demeanor is always fun. I love Dubuque Family Eye Care!!! Everyone who works there is super friendly and very helpful. They have a great selection of eyewear. If you are looking for glasses that are unique this is the place to come. I recently bought a multicolored pair and get at least one or two compliments every time I wear them. Dr. Lester is wonderful and Shelby and all of the other girls are very helpful in selecting the "right" glasses. I just cant say enough good about them!!

The girls always greet you as soon as you walk in. Waiting time for my appointment was very little. Dr. Lester is always willing to take the time to discuss my concerns with me. Shelby was great at helping me find new frames. My appointment was a very pleasant experience with all the great help.
