Do not see Trish. I was told that my 2 insurance companies were covering all costs and that I would not have to pay out of pocket. I made it very clear to GL Psychology that I was on disability and had no money to pay out of pocket. I said I cannot afford to come. Then, about three months into therapy, I get a large bill. I called the office to explain the occurrence and they told me to call Trish. As soon as Trish found out that I was behind on my bill, she told me that she did not want to see me anymore. Who does that to a person who is going through crisis-type issues?? A person who cares nothing for her patient/client, thats who. After the office told me I had to pay the balance, they said they would ask Trish if she would reduce the bill, considering my financial problems and Trish said no she would not. This woman is in the wrong business. Trish is very unprofessional.

I have been seeing Dr Stanley for over a year now. And I must say the progress she has made with me in a year, is unbelievable. She has been able to help me succeed in all aspects of my life, set and achieve amazing goals, conquer my fears, encourage me, motivate me and become a true confidant. Dr. Stanley has accomplished in a year, what years and multiple Psychiatrists and Therapists have not. I do not know what I would do or what state of mind I would be in today, if it was not for Dr. Stanley. I am truly Grateful and Appreciative for Dr. Stanley and GLPG for employing such caring, compassionate, flexible, understanding, motivating and professional Doctors. More practices could use a Dr. Stanley!!!

Great Lakes is wonderful. If I could give them 100 stars I would. My therapist Kathryn McCourtie is warm, intelligent, compassionate, patient, and one of the most beautiful persons, inside and out that I have ever met. I am finally getting to the root of all my issues and seeing the reasons why the way I am. Kate has taught me how to deal with my issues in a positive way and changed my outlook on life. I actually look forward to every day, even going to work!! The staff are also very caring and go above and beyond to help you. Thank you Great Lakes and Kate. I dont know what one reviewer meant when they were talking about Trish being a bad therapist. Sounds more like a billing dispute. This group of individuals are top notch. Great Lakes and their therapists are all very professional. All of the therapists seem genuine and committed to helping individuals and their problems small to large. A couple of these negative reviews dont really reflect how much the therapists here have helped change peoples lives for the better. I would definitely refer any and all of my friends and family to any of the great group of therapists at the Clinton Twp. location.

You can tell that her and her staff truly care about their patients and I dont know what I would have done without dr.stanley and this facility.
