We took our dog here and after a basic heart worm test he told us he has a little spot on the test which shows he may have some heart worm larvae, we will give him a preventative and he should be good to go. We did this 3 separate times over the course of a year. After easily spending over 1,000 dollars at his clinic, we still had our doubts. We went to other vets and had multiple opinions and they all came back the same. You cant maybe have heartworms or larvae, either you do or you dont. We will now have to spend well over 1,000 dollars AGAIN to have our dog treated which we could have had done a year ago now risking our dogs health even more than it should have. If you value your animal at all, DO NOT GO HERE. throughout this entire process not only did he act like he could care less one way or another but we would always get cut off by him when trying to ask questions. I dont see how all of these people are willing to rate him 5 stars. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

I was previously bringing my pet to another local clinic. Although the service was ok at the other clinic, the prices were extremely high. I had heard about Siegen Lane Animal Clinic from a friend and decided to use them to have my 4 year old lab neutered. Dr. Waguespack was very busy so I didnt have a chance to really talk with him, but they did a great job. He even called me later that evening to make sure the incision was looking ok and not bleeding. My dog was done the same day and healed up great. At one point I had a concern over a stich, but Dr. Waguespack told me to bring him by and he checked him out immediately. In addition, the price was extremely reasonable. I was very happy with the whole process and would recommend Dr. Waguespack to others. It looks like Ive found a new vet.

Awesome vet. didnt try to sell me a bunch of extra stuff or do any kind of b.s. Ive always used ivermectin cattle wormer on my dog and when the heart worm test came up negative he asked what i used. when i told him he said keep using that its working and i dont have anything cheaper than that i could give you. My dog would always misbehave at the vet but this guy had him calm as all get out. The thing i appreciated the most was the practical no bs approach. he wasnt going to try to get me to pay for something that i didnt need like so many vets seem to do. Great experience

Overall: outstanding. I recently took my dog to the Siegen Lane Animal Clinic for an annual checkup, to get updated on his shots, and to have a cut on his paw checked out. The cut on his paw became infected and had to be treated over the course of a couple of weeks. Dr. Waguespack and his staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Never did I feel like I was overpaying and all procedures and costs were clearly explained before they were performed. I highly recommend taking your pet(s) here for the wonderful service and fair value.

I really like this vet. This was my first visit with him. He took plenty of time with me and my dog. My lab puppy had been limping. He did a very thorough exam and showed me the problem. He explained it very well and suggested a less expensive and conservative course first. It all make sense to me. I truly appreciate him talking to me adult to adult and carefully explaining everything and answering all my questions. The other people I met while there had been using him for years and loved him. I recommend this clinic.

I love Dr. Waguespack and his staff at Siegan Lane Animal Clinic. He is the most honest and down to earth doctor I have encountered. He has taken such great care of all of my pets. When other vets claimed that my Pomeranian needed surgery, Dr. Waguespack was reserved and explored other options. He is definitely not quick to run up the vet bill which I very much appreciate. Thanks to him my two dogs and cat are healthy and loved. I have recommended him to all my friends and family. Thank you Dr. Waguespack!!!

Dr. Waguespack at the Siegen clinic is very knowledgeable about animals and helpful, and very trustworthy with pets - Ive been to many Vets in town over the years and none inspired the confidence that he does. I have taken my two cats and one I rescued to him and was very pleased with the service. They are also very reasonably priced (and medicines they offer there are too), and I highly recommend this vet. He cares about animals and isnt there just trying to make a buck.

I had a great first visit with Dr. Waguespack. He has a tendency to talk over you a little bit, but not in a way that made me feel rushed. He was really kind to both me and my dog (who usually growls at the vet, but not a peep out of him today!). I got a good vibe from him that he really cares about animals, so we will definitely be back. :)

I love this clinic and the staff. He reminds me of my vet up in shreveport, very down to earth and willing to work within my budget. My dogs love him, too! The building is a bit older, but dont let that fool you. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the Doc is fantastic :)

Dr. Waguespack had been our vet for a short time when our nine year old dog got sick. He cared for and went above and beyond in the care of my sweet boy until we decided it was time to send him over the Rainbow Bridge. My pets will be patients here as long as we are in Baton Rouge.

Great guy and vet. Really knowledgeable and truly cares about the pets and owners .Doesnt over charge. Has treated our many pets for 20 years. Saved our dachshund after had been attacked by chow and the wound was to the spine, an absolute miracle; so grateful for Dr. Waguespack.
