Our Labrador retriever, Gus chose BEST FRIENDS PET CLINIC . We had taken him to other veterinarians but he didnt click with any of them. When Gussies eyes met Dr. Diane and the staff at BEST FRIENDS PET CLINIC , it was love at first sight. The care he received over the 14, yes 14 years of his wonderful life, was exceptional. Dr. Diane came to our home the heartbreaking day of Gussies passing, she truly cared for our loyal companion from the puppy years thru senior life. Our beautiful Gus Gus is pain free, running free with our pets that passed before him. We miss and love him every day. We now have a new labbie and feel confident Ezra will receive the same outstanding care. I highly recommend BEST FRIENDS PET CLINIC.

Diane does a super job. I imported a Sieger German Shepard from Munich for my son who lives in the Twin Cities. The dog, after arrival, was having some digestive issues that were completely misdiagnosed by a Twin Cities Vet. I contacted Diane and she reviewed his lab results and gave us a course of action that was dead on. Problem gone in less than a week. Gotta love those Iowa State Veterinarians. Since then, I bring the dog down from the Twin Cities to Diane for a yearly check up.

I cant count the number of reasons that I love Best Friends. Dr. Diane is a perfect combination of the highest skill and deepest empathy. She loves her animals and their humans and offers the latest in techniques and research. Her staff, too, are incredible and have been with her a long time--a good sign! This clinic gives the feel of the old school small vets office but with the equipment and expertise of the latest recommended treatments. Why go anywhere else:)?

Dr. Shipley-Preston is the best Veterinarian Ive ever worked with throughout the past 20 years of caring for many dogs and cats. Shes willing to work with me on Alternative treatments combined with conventional treatments. She conscientious about keeping the billing as low as possible while still giving comprehensive care. The staff is professional, kind and accommodating. Were fortunate to have her for our animals.

Dr. Thein and her staff are amazing! If you have any issue just call! Even when the doc is out of the office- her and Crystal still work together to help take care of the problem. We have been having an ongoing issue with one of our pups and a Best Friends Clinic has gone above and beyond to keep us knowledgeable of what the issue is and the steps needed to care for our little guy. What a great group of people!

Wont go anywhere else. A vet told us our 6 month old Berner pup had something lodged behind his eye or a tumor which was causing a massive bulge on his temple and we would have to have an emergency MRI costing thousands or put him down. Best Friends found us time the next morning, assessed and diagnosed and treated for a fraction of the cost, and saved our puppy. Happy, healthy, and in debt to Best Friends!

The staff at Best Friends Pet Clinic are always friendly and extremely helpful! They even will come out to the car and help carry your pet. They even allowed me to bring my cat in just to get him over being scared. They would just set him on the scale and pet him. I also really like it when they talk to your pet like he can understand every word! After all a real pet lover knows they can understand

I love the staff here! Ive been going to Best Friends as my primary vet care for almost a decade now. Dr. Diane Thein has provided excellent care through the final days of my elderly Beagle, seen my German Shepherd from puppyhood to now aging gentleman, as well as my special needs adopted Doberman. They will continue to receive my business for years to come!

We have had several pets and she has been so caring. From puppies to losing our pets she has been so compassionate and helped us thru the good and the sad.

I think this place is great, I almost put my little dog down, because his 1st vet wanted well over a thousand dollars to fix his teeth. But I contacted Best Friends and could afford to have the treatment done. Best Friends is there to help your pet while other vets seem to just want to make lots of money for there fancy buildings.

Dr. D Thein has been caring for my cats and kitten for past year now and she is great with them. CCymonne and Snoflake are comfortable with her and trust her with their babys. I hate the thought of having to spay ccymonne but she has had 3 litters in the past year, it is best for her and her hralth to be done

Dr. Diane and her staff are great! They take into consideration the family and their pet. They take the time to get to know the family. We have had several pets under their care, dogs- Bailey Mae, Gus the Bus, Gator, Sami, Gracie and Thor-the cat. The small town atmosphere is evident in their care and concern.

We really like Best Friends Pet Clinic. We have taken our dogs there for years and they are always helpful and caring. They are great with puppies but I love how Diane cares for our senior dogs. When the time came to help our Daisy cross the rainbow bridge they were kind and understanding.

We only just moved here and right away had a sick cat. They treated him with care and me with consideration, were helpful with explanations. The next week we had to take a Husky in for grooming and felt like the groomer was careful and gentle with him (he is elderly) and he came home happy.
