The staff has been wonderful for us. Recently it was time to let our 11 year old Boxer go as her quality of life was no longer there. When I set up the appointment, sadness was felt by the staff and they were sorry to hear the time had come. Because she was not able to walk or even stand (I could have carried her) they came out to the vehicle were she was sitting comfortably. She recognized the staff and wagged her tail as if a signal to them she was ready herself. Handing the doctor her paw she confirmed the decision she had made. Within seconds of the injection she was no longer in any pain and was now resting with her 3 other generations - Great-Grandfather, Grandfather and Father. The 4 horsemen running again. I believe I saw a tear or two on the staff afterwards. They could not have been more professional in my opinion. They have managed the time and reminded myself of needed vaccinations for my other Boxer. WONDERFUL people! WONDERFUL place!

I take my dog Maya to La Crescent Animal Care every year for her preventative shots that she needs, but after today I will also be taking her there regularly for grooming as well. I own a 5 year old Husky, and she can be very anxious and temperamental; in fact, we usually opt to get her sedated so its a smooth process with no risks. Carrie is a groomer that works at LCAC, and she told me that she wanted to try grooming her without sedation at first. I was apprehensive, but she assured me that if it wasnt going to be possible without sedation, she would bring her downstairs. About an hour and a half later she brought Maya downstairs looking perfectly groomed and beautiful. I just wanted to thank Carrie and La Crescent Animal Care for the wonderful work she did. Its refreshing to know that Maya is comfortable in someone elses hands.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. When I made my initial phone call about getting medication for transporting my anxiety prone cat, although I had not been seen yet within the clinic, Judy treated me as if I had been a customer for over a decade. She truly went above & beyond to answer all of my questions- with backup info. She told me she had to speak with the vet & she would call me back- she did so within 5 minutes. After I decided that the appointment may be too steep for my budget right now, she called me back later with a recommendation for a funding system that could lower my vet bills. I will be staying with this clinic.

I really dont understand the positive reviews. I really did not have a good experience the 3 times I have been here and would not recommend this place to anyone, and now I just got an email to leave them a review... Wow. Long story short, they are short with you, do not give you any information, and are rude on the phone. They dont love on the animals either. I really dont understand why people like it here and several people Ive talked to said they went once and never went back. I will not be back, and will share my experiences to others to let them know as well. I felt I gave them a fair shot going a couple times as well.

We have been taking our cats there for 10 years. I love that many of the vet techs have been there for almost as long as we have been bringing our cats. I also feel that prices are comparable if not better than other clinics, and no one wants to sell you something that you may not need or is not in the best interest of your animal. I also am VERY appreciative at how kind and sympathetic everyone is when a pet is ill or at the end of his/her life. They take time, are patient, kind and very compassionate during these painful moments. I really like the vet as well. She is also very knowledgeable and compassionate.

Im thankful for La Crescent Animal Care and the care they give my pet. My dog became sick and as a "dogmom" I was worried sick. The vet and techs at La Crescent Animal Care gave my dog individual attention as followed through with me with check in calls on his condition and progress. When I went to pick him up the next day it was evident they took excellent care of him by the way he was loving on them. To this day going to the vet is something my dog enjoys because of the love, care and attention they give all of their animal clients.

We were very happy with the care our dog received when she needed two ACL replacements. Its like magic to see how well she is doing.. Every day she improves and we truly appreciate the great treatment at LaCrescent Animal Care. We received excellent and detailed information so we understood what the surgery involved, and felt confident in doing the aftercare for our dog. We love La Crescent Animal Care! Staff is always so friendly and caring. Last year we had to put our 14 yr old dog to sleep and the staff could tell it was very hard on us. Their caring and support helped us make the difficult decision easier. A month later we bought a new puppy and the same Vet Assistant that helped put our old dog down came up and gave my wife a hug for us being willing to get another dog. Have nothing bad to say about La Crescent Animal Care and always recommend them to others!

They charged 800 after taking my cat in for a uti and called us 40.minutes later saying he died and kept asking us as we were crying what we wanted to do with the body and wouldnt work with us on paying or anything. Such bs he dies and they dont save him. They ran a bunch of tests, which are the most expensive and werent needed seeing as he died before they could do anything. 890 in blood work. They were rude too. Cant wait to switch what a awful Christmas present

Weve been using LAC for a long time for a long list of little critters in our family. The team at the LAC cared for them all. They have a very knowledgeable and professional staff. Theyve given our cats and dogs personal attention and lots of love. They treat our pets like their own, I like that. And when we have an end of life decision to make they are there with arms open. I would never consider taking our babies elsewhere.

My dog is always very nervous going to the vet. They treat him like gold there! Every staff member gets down to his level and talks to him and tries to make him feel less nervous. The staff were all super and kind with both me and my dog. The prices and services are all extrememly affordable- better than anywhere else in the area! I definitely tell all my family and friends to go to La Crescent Animal Care!!

I brought my kitty in for his shots to the La Cresent Animal Care Clinic. All the employees were so nice and helpful. They all wanted to pet kitty, and were super nice to him. The vet and the vet techs were all very nice and caring. I was very happy with the way I was treated and kitty was treated during our visit. I would definitely recommend this clinic to any person with a pet! :)
