These guys rock! My 10yo Boston terrier had a severe infection in his mouth. The left side of his face was the size of a tennis ball. We made an appointment with a different veterinary clinic at first, but they said they couldnt see him until a week later. And they quoted me something like $600 for an X-ray and a cleaning. They said it would be around $900 if they had to extract any teeth. They told me all of this without actually having laid eyes on my dog. Frustrated I decided to find somewhere else to take him. A friend recommended that we take him to Animal Care Center of Gonzales. I sure am glad that I took his advice. I called them up and explained my situation and they got me an appointment for the very next morning. We brought him in and they did a thorough exam and said they would check to see if the surgeon could squeeze him in, since we drove all the way out from Laplace. We were thrilled when she said that she would be able to do it that day. 45 minutes later they called and said that he was all finished. The surgeon explained everything that they had done and gave me a detailed status report on his condition. She said that they will keep an eye on him until he was fully recovered from the anesthesia. They ended up having to extract 5 teeth and they cleaned all of the rest them. They did all of this work and only charged me 1/3 of what the other place quoted me. Their surgeon on staff must have serious technical skill. My dog was only in there for like 40 minutes and they were able to remove all of those teeth and clean the rest. I just inspected the work and his teeth look phenomenal (almost better than mine). Only one day after his surgery, my little buddy is his old self again. His mouth doesnt reek of death like it has for so many years. Now, at 10 years old, my friend has puppy breath again. The facility itself is warm and inviting. It doesnt smell of pee like most other veterinary clinics do. It actually smells good in there (kinda like the inside of a Bath & Bodyworks)lol. And the place is impeccably clean. I am more than impressed with the service and expertise of the entire staff. They are all friendly and knowledgeable. This will be our vet from now on. Totally worth the 50 minute drive from Laplace. Keep up the great work.

We just moved into the area three weeks ago and have looking for a vet since then and I saw all of the positive reviews and comments about this place. We have 5 cats and 1 dog and knew it was just a matter of time for something to happen to one of them. This morning (Saturday at 7:15 am) was the day. Took my cat in as a small emergency walk in and we were worked in within the hour! The entire staff was extremely friendly and efficient. They diagnosed the problem and sent us on our way. Another plus is that they LOVE bully breeds (we have a pit/boxer) . They have all of our future business. We are happy customers!

Dr. Rob and his staff are very eager to care for their patients. They are always pleasant and Dr. Rob is a very caring vet with a really positive attitude. His clinic is beautiful and comfortable for both his animal patients and their owners. I highly recommend Dr. Rob and his clinic.

Going to this vet clinic was like a breath of fresh air compared to our experience at a vet clinic off of hwy 30. The staff is so nice they even call the next day to check on your animal and to see how theyre doing! Highly recommended

They were so nice first time going there with my dog. But they explained all things and didnt charge to much even though we had to put the dog down cause he was just to sick, but I would still suggest people to go here ..
