The reviews about redirecting your pet is EXTREMELY true, even though we WERE existing patients/customers since our animal was 8 weeks old, they had no problem telling us to take our pet some where else when a problem fell on the holiday weekend, they couldn’t stay open 30min. later to see him, even though on the phone the Doctor expressed general concern and said we should see a vet right away. She didn’t even refer us to anyone else, she basically wrote us off. This is why I use the word WERE patience, obviously they didn’t care enough about my pet whom I consider family so I don’t care about giving them my business other than his monthly heart worm medication. The only advice I have if you still choose this vet is ask for Dr. Amy Stark she is the only vet worth seeing, and it’s a shame she wasn’t there the day we called.

Ive been taking my dogs to see the Drs at Lone Star for years with great results! Dr. Eagan guided my young daughters through the joys of owning a puppy. Thanks to her care, their puppy lived a full and active 15 years. Dr. Glorio correctly diagnosed a serious heart condition in my Pom mix. A visit to A & M confirmed his diagnosis and the seriousness of my dogs condition. And Dr. Stark spent lots of time with me when I rescued a poodle. I needed sound advice and she gave it. On the sad day that a dear friend wont be going home again, all of the staff at Lone Star share a tear and kind word. Its comforting to know that everything has been done for your treasured friend. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Im not sure what happened with the previous person, but Ive been with Dr. Mary Egan for years. Maybe she was dealing with too many animals at that time. She is very kind and caring...extremely personable, which can be hard to find in a vet. She operated on and helped me with my boxer as we went down the "cancer" road, and she hugged me when I cried because we finally had to put her down. I have 3 dogs now and they see her regularly. We are happy.

If your dog has a bad case of the "ADRs" then this is the vet to see. Ive used this hospital since its opening and have not had one complaint regarding the care, the medicine or the advice. A better pair of Animal Doctors cant be found, and I highly recommend this clinic. And also, the grooming store next door is great! P.S. If you dont know what "ADRs" are, then ask the doctor, or the receptionist, she can tell you.

Dr.Egan and staff are Wonderful! My dog was really sick and although we had never taken him there, they helped us immediately! They gave the best care any one could ask for. Unfortunately we lost our dog but we couldnt have asked for a better place to have to deal with such an awful situation. Best place in the world for your animals!

Our pets have been seeing Dr. Stark for three years. She has helped us say goodbye to beloved family members and welcome new members to our herd. Even though we have moved we will still be going to Lone Star because of the love and care Dr. Stark and staff share with their patients.
