This morning I found a little dog that had been hit by a car. I called my vet to see how much it would cost to have the dog checked out and they told me it would be $70 for the office visit, $150 for x-rays, $120 for vaccinations, and then if they found anything wrong with the dog, which of course they would, there would be additional charges for that too. Considering I have been a good client for many years, I was less than impressed. My friend Sherry suggested I take the dog to Ranch Acres instead, she said they were very "rescue friendly". The dog obviously needed medical attention and their office visit was almost half the price, so I headed over there. When I got there, Dr. Cody got us right in and did a full work up on the sweet little dog. He asked me what my plan was and I told him I didnt have one. He proceeded to tell me that he would be happy to take the dog, fix its leg, board it at the office and call through all of his clients who have recently had to put down their dogs. He didnt charge me anything and assured me he would make sure the pup found a wonderful forever home :) If you want to support a great Veterinary practice that is reasonably priced and genuinely cares about the animals, consider switching your business over to Dr. Cody at Ranch Acres. We will be taking our dogs there from now on, so glad we found this place!

I do not I repeat do not recommend sending any animal to this place. My dog got ran over so I took her here they charged my 1000 to put. A pin in her leg after two weeks the pin broke and fell out so I took her back then they charged me another 200 to splint her leg after about a two weeks her Splint cut through her paw and was cutting her leg up and smelt like rotten flesh so I took her back the next morning. At which time no one told me they were sorry no instead they tried to blame me for the pin breaking and the splint cutting her paw and cutting off circulation this place is a joke then on top of that with out my permission they ran my bank card and called me after the fact they are just money hungry my aunt took her dog there cuz he broke his leg they did the same thing with the pin and it didnt work so they charged her again and again to fix his leg This place sucks and Im am telling he world

Great place! There are 5 animals in my house that are all treated at Ranch Acres. I could not be happier and appreciate Dr. Scott and Dr. Codys attention and care when handling my animals. I really feel like they care and take the time with you and dont try to kick you out of the room to shuffle in the next appointment. They also give the best advice and if they wont treat your animal they are quick to tell you where to go and who to ask for. Its not the fanciest vet office and looks super small from the outside, but its always clean and the care you receive makes that non existent. I really cannot say enough good things about all the people that work here. Ive tried other vets and hospitals here for my animals and have had nothing but horrible things happen. Ranch Acres has my complete trust and patronage.

If there were more stars, I would add them. Ranch Acres is not the fanciest or most technologically advanced vet in town. But if you are looking for the best possible care for your pet, from people who are down to earth and let you know all your options- Drs. Mary Scott and Bill Cody cannot be beat. We run a small Italian Greyhound rescue in town, and they are the only vets we would consider using. If there is a vet problem they are not equipped to handle, they will guide you to the right specialist. Just like a great pediatrician- they are common sense, conservative providers. No unnecessary testing, no crazy costs. They are simply the BEST!

I took my 8 week old basset hound there today. The doctor was so nice and informative. She was so sweet and gentle with my dog. She had no problems answering the many questions that I had. She also gave us additional information on how to socialize my puppy, and how to watch out for bad behaviors common to the breed. I will definitely be taking my puppy back to Ranch Acres. My boyfriend was so surprised by how nice everyone was, he said that he will be taking his dog there in the future.

Ranch acres is truly a place who cares about Animals. Ive personally seen doc Cody just Stop by the cage of an animal that is sad and Practically crawl in the cage with them to pet and talk to them to comfort them. Dr Cody and Dr Scott are very friendly and caring and they have high standards of a clean sterile Inviroment. I always recommend them to anyone who needs a great veterinarian to bring their pets to.

OMG, what can I say other than Dr. Mary Scott, saved my Milos life by correctly diagnosing him with Cushings disease. Tumor on his adrenal gland causing unregulated production of cortisol resulting in misery for the dog and anxiety for the owner. Have taken all of my pets to Ranch Acres for most of my 17 years in Tulsa and would recommend this vet to anyone.

The staff is ALWAYS friendly. The vets (Dr. Scott and Dr. Cody) are the most compassionate, loving vets. We rescued a senior dog from Zois Animal Rescue and we ALWAYS see the rescue group at Ranch Acres when we visit. Dr. Scott and Dr. Cody are very committed to helping rescue dogs and cats. The sweetest people EVER!!!

Be careful when boarding. I was quoted $13/day plus $3 extra/day to board my diabetic cat. When I picked him up my bill was nearly $150 for 3 days of boarding. They charged me an additional $40 a day to check his glucose levels and give insulin shots. Shocked and disappointed.

A wonderful place. Weve taken countless dogs here over the years. The prices are affordable, and the employees are animal lovers. Ive been going here several times a year for all 32 years of my life, since my parents go there as well and have been forever.
