Took our kitten there on short notice, she had a temp of 104. Vet was convinced that it was fip and skipped the basics (fecal test (this is only a 23.00$ test)). Due to deworming done at the human society. Her only recommendation was a blood test and we were told that would give us no real results. She prescribed antibiotics for a URI that was treated at the hunaine sovciety. After 10 days the fever went down but her belly continued to swell we brought this to the dr s attention and it was dismissed and after asking her advice she suggested giving her the antibiotics for a few more days. At the end of the antibiotic treatment we insisted that a fecal test be performed, the results - hookworms (severe), roundworms (moderate) and coccidia (moderate). While reading the results dr Moore passed blame and said I cant believe the hunaine society missed this and walked out of the room abruptly. We were given the meds to treat her however the hookworm infestation was so bad Lilly died Friday. I hate to pass blame, we could of insisted on facial tests earlier however we were going on the advice of dr Moore. In short this Dr is by far the worst I have ever encountered. Her lack of interest in truly treating our cat could not have been lower (I cant believe she did not want to see her or keep her as she was totally anemic). This is a vet that l seems to have lost passion in her profession. Please do yourself a favor and ignore the other reviews on here, we have seen first hand how a lack of true interest in your pet will lead to mistreatment and in our case death. I welcome a rebuttal from Dr Moore as there is no plausible excuse for this malpractice. Again, we all love our pets, please stay away from affordable pet care hospital. Sean & Brianna Riegal ********REPLY Dr. Shame on you, we rely on you to tell us what our pets cant. Your immediate conclusion was fip with NO tests performed whatsoever. We were told by you to go home and administer antibiotics. Meanwhile worms and parasites were at a very high level in her system. You failed to perform a simple fecal test at any of the treatments. You were convinced it was fip but gave no other course of action other than blood tests that would only prove fip. This was a lapse in judgement and I hope it does not happen again as we all love our pets and rely on skilled vets like yourself to give us guidance.

Our old dachshund has been seeing Dr. Moore for over 4years for several issues. When he started coming was due to his history of seizures. He hadnt had an episode in several months and was advised by prior Dr.s that he would be on medications for the rest of his life. Dr. Moore suggested weaning him off and we did through 9month period. And till this day no seizures. 3years ago he had an accident and hurt his back from jumping off high areas one too many times. We were devistated by his injury and honesty thought when we were taking him into she Dr. Moore that we were going to be putting him down. Dr. Moore was so compassionate towards us all and her staff. Through several laser treatments his pain went away. She then discussed long term options. And thanks to Dr. MOORE our old man has limited mobility but walks around like a kid in his wheel chair. We adopted 2 young brother and sister daschund jack russell mixes that have really been the best therapy and brought out the quality of life in him. I could go on about many more treatments she has done for our dogs. But those two I thought were very important to mention and share to those looking to find someone you can trust a love one with that has the most passion I have seen in a physician. Thank you, all of you at affordable health care. You guys continue to always make our visits such a pleasure.

They do a good job here, but make sure to tell your pet to not have any medical issues outside of business hours or else you get sent to the $1,000/hr. emergency "pet doctor" down the street (even though the APH "hospital" is "open" on Saturday). The term "hospital" is a bit misleading as it indicates 24 hour service (the difference between a doctors "office" and a "hospital" is important to distinguish). Not sure why they would even be open on Saturday if there is no one available to examine a pet (are they trying to compete with PetsMart and focus on selling retail products instead of veterinary care?). Dr. Moore is great at her job, but that is only one aspect of running a business. Problems dont only occur during M-F business hours and you would think there would be adequate controls in place to handle the off hours when she is unavailable (not a referral to the "emergency vet hospital" who has a staff that appears to be straight out of prison due to their angry attitudes and shouting at clients who are asking relevant questions.) For the sake of your business, please dont refer anyone to the actor/"pet doctor" known as Dr. Kevin Oomah. Guy should be a salesman, not any type of doctor. I am disappointed in general with my recent experiences with local veterinarians, but Dr. Moore is good at her job when she happens to be available.

We have brought our gaggle of whippets to Dr. Moore and Affordable PetCare for years and we could not be more pleased. To tell you how much we love her and her cheery staff, we drive about 35 miles one way - passing umpteen other vets along the way - to give our beloved dogs the finest of care. One of the most amazing things about Affordable PetCare is indeed the prices (thus the name). Unlike others we tried years ago, Dr. Moore keeps her prices fair, low by comparison, and abundantly affordable. But theres no cutting corners either...this is top-shelf veterinary medicine. Totally a first class operation where love of pets drives this practice and NOT a get-rich-quick attitude. No matter what kind of pet you have, your will be thrilled with the warm and personal care, the attentive service given where your time is truly respected, and the "hey, thats a bargain" nature of the final bill. I give Dr. Moore and Affordable PetCare two enthusiastic thumbs up and I recommend them without reservation. Youll be very glad you gave them a try and I guarantee youll be a lifelong customer. Thanks, Dr. Moore!!

Our Puggles, Bella and Bailey, love going to see Dr. Moore at Affordable Pet Care Hospital. Theyve visited Dr. Moore for over 10 years for countless ailments (as their parents worry over the smallest of things) from ear infections to stomach issues to skin problems and complete annual exams. They like the fact that Dr. Moore takes an innovative approach to diagnosing and coming up with specific treatment plans based on their individual needs. She listens and takes all the time they need to discover what is going on with them. We just cant say enough about Dr. Moore, she is one of the best in town and weve been to at least six of the local veterinarian facilities in Naples alone.

Pets have been a part of our family for many years. Finding a veterinary clinic we could trust, and that we didnt feel taken advantage of financially was a challenge. We feel grateful to our friends for sending us to Dr. Moore. Our experience over the last year has been very good. She helped us manage our eldest cats two chronic diseases. I trust her skill, judgement and appreciate her compassion. When it came time to say good-bye to our 18 year old extremely ill kitty, she exhibited true kindness and tenderness; to both our cat, and to my husband and me. We would encourage anyone to try this wonderful vet clinic. The ladies who assist are also very skilled, knowledgable and kind.
