Dr. Prosek is an incredible doctor. I started off at another veterinary cardiologist and after receiving some bad news, I did some research looking to get a second opinion. I found Dr. Prosek through Google reviews and when I read that he was the cardiologist for Metro Zoo I knew he was the one to go to. His level of expertise far exceeded the prior vet. I am now lucky to have Dr. Prosek caring for my little Porkchop, and because of him, I am hopeful she may be actually cured (something the prior vet did not even suggest was possible). Besides being an incredible cardiologist, Dr. Prosek really cares about his patients and is a very nice person. I give him my highest recommendation.

My cat almost died. Woke up to see him panting. Rushed him to his vet who removed fluid from lungs and did an X-ray. Suggested I put him down because his chest looked hazy and it could likely be cancer. My gut told me otherwise. So I took the risk of bringing him home so I could take him to Dr Prosek. I was nervous since this is a specialist office and Im thinking it would cost a lot, but it didnt. Doctor performed ultrasound, thoroughly and patiently explained his condition (CHF), and confirmed there wasnt cancer or blood clots. My cat is still alive because of him. Highly recommend him.

I cannot say it enough how AMAZING Dr. Prosek and his staff are. I took my dog Nouba for years to him after being diagnosed with a heart murmur. Dr. Prosek saw him all the way till the end of his life. Their staff is extremely responsive and compassionate. Dr. Prosek IS THE BEST. Our family loves him and appreciate everything he did for us. GO SEE HIM!!!!!
