When your animals are your children they are the most important thing in the world to you. I moved across the country from Ca. to Plantation and one of my biggest fears was finding an outstanding vet that I could communicate with. We flew with four cats from Ca. to Plantation. On of my Devon Rex cats was given six weeks to live in Ca.(lung caner) at three years of age. With steroids and fluid being drained from his chest he lived till almost TEN! I came here preparied with all of his medical records etc. Dr. Ansara read what we brought with us and in FIVE minutes I felt completley at ease. When you have to stick a needle at an exact part of the cats chest cavity it is scary. Dr. did it with such ease as I watched the first time I felt at home and so comfortable with him as my vet. So, now with two Bulldogs and three cats he takes care of my menagerie. He is not the type of man that is enamored with the initials Dr. he introdiced himself as Carl. I was amazed. His staff is the same way. They go out of their way to be kind and loving. One quality I admire most is no one gets rushed out. He will sit and make sure you are full aware what is going on with the "client" so that their person understands. The hospitals prices are not expensive at all. His front staff is very efficient and friendly. ALL od my pets LOVE to go there. SIMPLY THE BEST!

I found Dr. Ansara, through a friend who recommended him. My dog was limping and the reason was because he had injured his hind left knee; commonly knows as CCL. I went to his regular vet and she told me that my dog might need surgery. I went for a second and third opinion and the last opinion was from Dr.Ansara. I decided to stayed with him, because he explained perfectly what happened with my dog and how the procedure was going to be made. Dr. Ansara gave me confidence and I did not think it twice. I took the decision to operate my dog ASAP. The Clinic staff are very friendly. Two weeks have passed and my dog started to uses his leg again. I feel very please to have found Dr. Ansara. I highly recommend him and his clinic. The hospital prices are not expensive at all.

I have been going to Animal Hospital of University Drive for about 10 years. The staff is great, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Dr. Carl Ansara is great! He is so kind and caring. He takes the time to really get to know you and your pet. I lost my little Button at home and rushed her to see him. He was so thoughtful and sincere with me. It was very hard but he helped me through that horrible day. Now Frosty goes there and although she barks her head off, they all treat her with kind, loving care. He works with you in trying to figure out what your next move should be and gives you all the options. He speaks to you as a friend, not a business deal. I would recommend Dr. Ansara to anyone looking for a good vet. Hes number one in my book.

Honest. Caring. Genuine. Professional. Trustworthy. Kind. Gentle. Thorough. Warmhearted. Conscientious. Knowledgeable. Delightful. Thoughtful. Compassionate. Mindful. Present. Just a few adjectives to describe the staff at Animal Hospital of University Drive. Dr. Ansara and Jamie (and staff) are the best. I am ecstatic to have finally found a DVM team that I know is competent and not out to sell me a litany of useless Rx. We received a thorough and informative exam and consultation ...finally after searching Broward extensively for nearly two years for a good Vet! I met a family in the waiting room that travels 20+ miles for an appointment with them. Best. Experience. Ever. A keeper.

Dr. Ansara and his team are incredible. I began seeing them shortly after a horrendous experience with another vet, when my dog had his tail amputated about 2 years ago. The team there is kind, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. I moved to Orlando about a year ago and I STILL drive down to Dr. Ansara for my dogs appointments. It is so hard to find a vet that you can truly trust to give their honest opinion when it comes to our pets. Dr. Ansara and his team have always been open and frank when discussing medical treatments and vaccines, helping me make the best decision for my furry friends.

I have brought my dogs to this vet office for the past 3 years and it is always a good experience. My shepherd needed stitches in a facial laceration and Dr. Ansara took care of her and it healed perfectly, you cant even tell. My pitbull has needed last minute surgery on both of her ears (seperate occassions) due to hematomas from the shepherd biting her while playing & Dr. Ansara fit her in his busy schedule right away, both times! Also, their prices are extremely fair! The office staff is extremely helpful and thorough, and you can always contact them with any questions or concerns! I highly recommend this office and Dr. Ansara!

When it comes to my dog, I worry about every little thing. I love that I can call and get an appointment the same day. My dog has only been a patient here for a few months, but has already been seen twice. Dr. Ansara has been so great! He can tell that I am nervous and concerned, and he gives me the information and options of tests and treatment (from best to worst case scenarios). It is refreshing to have a vet be so caring! Very happy with the care my dog receives when we come in. My Molly hates the vet, but they are so calm and patient with her squirming.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ansara and his clinic staff. My family has been coming here for many years with our cats and dogs, and we always have a great experience. You can see that Dr. Ansara truly cares about your pet, as he is very professional, thorough, and never rushes any appointments no matter how many questions you may have. Im surprised that it has taken me years to write this review, but he truly deserves it. I would highly recommend this office for any of your pet needs- you will not be disappointed!

Have to say that this office and staff are WONDERFUL! After almost being COMPLETELY ripped off by another vet (COCO PARK ANIMAL HOSPITAL OF CORAL SPRINGS- TERRIBLE) we came her after a referral from a friend. They did surgery on my daughters dog for LITERALLY HALF THE PRICE OF the other vet and everything turned out wonderful. We are not talking of a few dollars savings. It was a $600 savings! Just amazing. Dr. Ansara helped us make the right decision for our girl. We left at peace with our decision and the vet tech Jamie made us a lovely clay paw print. Him and his staff put the animals first and its clear from the moment you walk in the door their passion. My other dog is on the bans field plan and as soon as that expires she will be seeing this vet instead. I never knew you could love an animal hospital this much, I tell everyone I know about them. We are so thankful we found them.
