Simply amazing! My 9 year old son broke his glasses over the weekend and when his current optometrist couldnt see him until his already scheduled March 28th appt, I had to search for a sooner appt elsewhere. After doing my digging I came across River City Eyecare website. I was highly impressed with the staff bios and how much fun they all seemed to be having in their pictures. Why not make a semi stuffy boring eye appt as fun as possible!?! Im going to be honest though... I almost didnt call because of the scary review prior to mine. But then I realized... someone who could describe another person in such a way, was prob pretty miserable themselves and its nearly impossible to make some people happy. So, we had our first appt this morning. It was fantastic!! The girls in the front office were funny, friendly and welcoming. My son loved the banter. The Dr.?? Best optometrist weve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Now... my son has a very high, difficult prescription. After many years of glasses, prior optometrists have never been able to help him see as well as he could this morning. This morning the Dr. dialed him in so clearly he could read most of the bottom line. And yes..., Im that sappy mom whos eyes teared up and I almost needed a tissue. Luckily, the Dr and my son didnt even notice. She was so focused on him and what he was saying, she truly got excited to be helping him see better. We have found our forever eye care home. All staff were involved and seemed excited to find him the perfect glasses, not just try and sell me the most expensive pair. Keep rockin it ladies! Put out into the world what you want to receive in return.

I had already heard great things about River City Eyecare, but I had no idea it would turn out to be the best eye-clinic experience that Ive ever had. I mean, when you think "eye exam" you dont really think "fun." But it was! First of all, from the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The environment is warm and inviting. Instead of waiting next to the reception area, they brought me into the main section of their clinic where there is a comfortable couch and a kids play area. It feels more like youre in someones living room than a clinic - complete with coffee, tea and biscotti! Second of all, and most importantly to me, their staff is simply top-notch. Everyone from the optician to the doctors themselves were nothing but friendly, fun and professional. Dr. Provost completed my exam. He was great about taking his time and explaining everything that I asked about. And although I didnt have an exam with Dr. Breeden, I spoke with her quite a bit before and after my exam. She seems terrific, and I wouldnt hesitate to go see her as well. Finally, they have a great selection of frames to choose from. I was so glad because I definitely needed an update. Maryah, the optician, helped me find the perfect pair! Oh, and did I mention that they have cool new exam charts. No more reading your letters off a wall poster. You read them off a huge MAC computer screen. All in all, a great experience! Ill be going back!

The optometrist was wonderful. The other staff were rude, unhelpful, and bad at adjusting Glasses. Plus the selection of glasses frames are pathetic. My frames were the sturdiest they had (OSHA approved frames) and broke so many times that I lost count; I got them completely replaced three times and the staff couldnt have been more condescending and rude. I told them they are my work glasses and that they sold them to me as such, but the incompetent woman (I believe the manager - brown hair, permanent frown, overweight) helping me said that by wearing them to work I was "over stressing" the glasses. Seriously, everyone here besides the optometrist deserves to be fired.

The staff at RiverCity Eyecare are nothing short of wonderful. I was seen by Dr. Carrie Breeden, she took her time, and made sure to explain everything without using the confusing medical jargon. Marayah is also very sweet, and very informative. The facility is very updated, and modern, as said in the other review, you read the letters off a Mac screen, and if you are like me, and would memorize the letters, not any more! They change the letters on the screen, which helped Dr. Breeden really get a feel for my vision, and helped select the best contact lenses for my needs. I would recommend RiverCity Eyecare to anyone.

I went in to visit Dr. Breeden for my yearly eye exam, and she discovered that I was experiencing dry eyes. Working in front of 3 computer screens daily doesnt help, but she easily broke down the process of whats happening to my eyes and the steps I needed to follow in order to properly treat them. On top of kindly and enthusiastically educating me on eye care, the staff are genuine and always there to help you with glasses fitting, billing, and other questions. All in all, excellent customer service!

Ive been "seeing" eyecare professionals for 50+ years, and Dr. Breeden is the best ever!! In particular, she immediately recognized and solved a painful eye condition Id had that other docs had misdiagnosed! I cant thank her enough for that. My wife had a similar experience with a different challenge, and was amazed and so grateful that Dr. Breeden solved her vision problem as well. 5 stars are not enough, but theyll have to do - Dr. Breeden is a keeper :)

I am pretty new to glasses and eyecare, but have had to deal with a fair number of medical professionals. I have found Dr Provost to be a fantastic doctor: attentive to detail, friendly, patient, willing to explain things and treat me with respect. And, on top of all this, my glasses have proven to be quite helpful (!). Dr Provosts staff has also proven to be knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone who asked.

I bought some fantastic sunglasses here and I had an awesome experience! The staff was very helpful in finding the right sunglasses for me and checking to see what available colors they had. The staff was very nice. The practice is very modern and professional. They have quality frames that are not overpriced. I look forward to returning and I wear my sunglasses every chance I get. I highly recommend this clinic.
