Id been going to a vet in Austin for years. However, you always have to call weeks ahead of time to get an appointment. When my dog was experiencing severe breathing problems, I called my usual vet. They said that I could drop her off that afternoon or bring her in the next day. Are you kidding me? This is where Georgetown Veterinary Hospital stepped in and saved me. I called them in a minor panic and explained the situation. They told me to come in and they would check her out right away. They were extremely sweet to my puppy (and the freaking out human) and saw us quickly. Unfortunately, upon getting xrays, we had to take my dog on to the emergency vet and in the end had to put her to sleep. However, without Georgetown Veterinary Hospital, we wouldnt have been able to deal with the situation as quickly as we did and my baby didnt have to suffer for long. They called the ER vet and got them our info so we wouldnt have to waste any time. They even sent a sympathy card with a sweet note from the vet and staff who saw her. It may not seem like much, but when you are grieving, it helps. We just recently got a puppy and when we took her back here to see Dr. Long, she expressed her sympathies for our loss and was willing to answer any questions or worries I had with my new pup. Its the little things that make the difference and I can tell that this place really cares. My husband and I have no doubts that we have found our "forever vet" :)

This was our 2nd visit 13.November 2013. I called afternoon of the 12th and they were accommodating enough to suit my schedule, which is alway so nice. Our Kitty Salem, LOVES Dr. Nichols, and He hates All Vets! Our 1st visit, Salem was content with Dr. Nichols And the treats she gave him, Yum! However, this trip, Salem was in for his Feline Rabies and was Non too pleased, in fact, he was an absolute BRAT! Hes never been so Nasty before..... But in his defense, I had Dr. clip his claws And check his ears[which were bothering him]. But Dr. Nichols took it all in stride, with humor And compassion for Salem! She Never got irritated or cross with him [or myself]..... She is a Great Doctor and despite getting a shot and meds for his ears, Salem Still Loves her, and Thats the Most important thing to remember...... Salem loves her...... And I Love her for being such a Great Vet, who doesnt get rattled or snippy, [like Ive/Salems seen in the past] even when Salem gets that way LOL! They are Truly caring and very professional, and Thats a Huge + these days Especially! The reception and the tech are all so nice and courteous, too! ts such a please and a Relief to be a small part of the Georgetown Veterinary Hospital Family! Thanks so much for caring for Salem And All the animals for everyone! God Bless!

After reading all the great reviews I really wanted to take my puppy here. When I scheduled my first appointment, somehow it didnt make it into the appointment book. Turns out it was due to the clinic being moved into a new building and new techs being trained. I was a bit upset due to having to reschedule and rearrange my schedule a bit, but since there are so many great reviews I rescheduled and Im very glad I did. The clinic fitted me in for the next day after my appointment should have been so that minimized any inconvenience, and the staff and vet were so wonderful and kind to both my child and our puppy! They were also so patient with my many, many questions, even though I was the last appointment of the day and we went a bit over closing time (sorry guys!). We saw Dr. Long, who is not listed on their website yet, and I was very pleased with how thorough she was with the exam, and when she gave our puppy her shots, the puppy didnt even whimper! All in all, it was an awesome experience and I will definitely be bringing our puppy back to this clinic. As a side note, the new clinic building looks awesome, and they sell these wonderful pet odor eliminator candles that smell sooo good! I bought the last one they had so I hope theyll be getting some more in soon.

I took both cats and my dog for my first visit with this vet. All of the staff members were courteous and efficient. I filled out all of my paperwork before I came and they put it in a file and within 5 minutes, I was able to see the vet. She was great. Very kind and thorough, but also fast to alleviate my pets discomfort at going to see the "doctor." This place isnt fancy or fussy, but they provide great service and isnt that what its all about? The next weekend I brought my dog for an overnight visit and grooming. They did a great job with her grooming. They really brushed her well (shes an Alaskan Malamute) and we are grateful because she was blowing coat everywhere in the house. I am definitely taking her back to be groomed again. The prices were very reasonable too to me. They also have an online presence and a local presence in their smaller community, both of which I think is great. Overall, Im very impressed and recommend them. I even drove from Round Rock because Id previously heard good things about them. I can confirm that my two experiences went very well.

We started taking Joyful to Georgetown Vet Hospital after a neighbors recommendation a couple of years ago. I cant say enough good things about this vet hospital.... The staff is friendly and attentive to our dogs needs, and both vets are exceptional. I wouldnt think of taking Joyful anywhere else (and weve been to 2 other vets in the Georgetown area over the past 7 years with our last Lab). One of the things I particularly like is that both Drs. Haley and Nickols will do tests right then to make an accurate diagnosis and explain what is wrong, what might have caused it and how to best care for our dog. Love the communication to ensure our dog gets the correct care.... And, contingent on the diagnosis, the Vet follows up with a phone call the next day. Amazing!

This place is the best! I have never lived anywhere near this vet but I always take my cat and dog here for their check ups because the staff here is awesome. I originally was looking for low cost boarding for my babies while I was on vacation and found this gem. My dog loves it here so much that the last time I took her to board she ran off happily with a staff member and did not look back at me once... To tell the truth it broke this dog owners heart that she didnt seem sad to part from my company... but I know that her excitement only goes to show you how happy she is in Georgetown Veterinary Hospitals care. I am able to have very relaxing vacations knowing that my pets are safe, happy and well-cared for while I am gone!

We have only been here a couple of times with our two bunny rabbits and have received great care. But it is the exceptional service and caring we received when having to put our little bunny to rest that stands out. Dr. Haley was not only caring and sympathetic, but honest about Winstons prognosis. She never tried to sway us one way or the other, just educate us about what to expect. With a heavy heart, we decided that rest would be best for him. We got to spend as much time as we wanted with him and we felt that the whole experience was as caring and comforting as we could hope for. Its times like these when true service and heart shows and we know weve found the right vet for us in Georgetown.
