My little Chi/terrier mix disappeared two years ago, on August 25th. I searched for her relentlessly, signs everywhere, called all the shelters and animal rescues in Austin, visited town lake every other day for months. Never found her, and was devastated. Teela was my soul mate and I loved her like a child. I never got over her, and couldnt bear to throw away her little outfits or collar. Today I got a call, two years later, and ATA had my tiny girl. Someone had brought her in, and one of the girls there, noticing she was spayed, thought to check for a microchip. This is a TRUE miracle. We got to my apartment complex and she started yelping, and I let her out of the car and she ran right to my door. I have another dog now, and they are already getting along like little brother and sister. Thank you, ATA, you brought my tiny girl home to me after TWO YEARS. Never give up hope, and always, ALWAYS support these organizations.

I took my dog here to be neutered. The staff and veterinarian were friendly and really wanted to give me an understand of everything that would be going on before he even went in for the surgery. They gave me amazing detail and took awesome care of my pup. I of course was a nervous wreck and they made sure that my nerves were calmed before leaving the office. At pick up time, they gave me specific details about the recovery process and answered every single question I had. They even gave me pain medication to take home at no additional charge, they even cut the pills into the doses that he should have. My pup came home happy and recovered in just days. He was soo happy when I picked him up and they even said on of the nurses was snuggling him all day because he was crying from me leaving. They are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!

Most amazing, caring, knowledgeable and compassionate skilled team! They completely saved my dog from dying. My dog had a obstruction in his stomach and lower intestines that severely threaten his life. They took him in with no problem when I was advised at another hospital to put him down. They completely discussed with me the risks and even called me during the surgery to help me understand the severity and possible effects of his condition. NEVER once was I discriminated against because I didnt have thousands of dollars to throw at them. My dog survived the surgery and has zero complication now due to their skilled hands. They worked with me throughout the entire deal and even helped me through the process of his after hours emergency care. I will forever be grateful for my dogs life thank to them

My 6 month old pitbull fell off of our bed and broke her leg. Our vet priced us at $2700 for the surgery. We couldnt afford that at all. We called so many different clinics trying to see if anyone could do payment plans, we called rescue centers hoping someone could help her and we had no luck. She was in terrible pain and needed the surgery ASAP. I emailed ATA and within 3 hours someone (VERY friendly) called me back and said they could do the procedure for a discounted price. We emailed her X-Rays and medical records on Friday and she had her surgery that following Monday. The surgery went well & she is home recovering! I cant thank ATA enough for saving my pup. Everyone we spoke to was extremely nice and helpful. I would most definitely recommend ATA!!

WARNING Animal Trustees completed wasted my time and gas two weeks in a row and I refused a third try. Apparantly, if they cant get a vet in they close without calling to cancel your preset appointment. After leaving a message for them to contact me, I had to call to reset the appointment myself only for someone to call back and ask if I needed an appointment. When I arrived the second time, much of the information I had given was recorded incorrectly and I had waited 30 minutes before getting informed that they could not do the scheduled service. This is the first review that I have ever written but I am completely disappointed by their disorganization.

We moved here and did not have a vet, but a family situation made it necessary to board our dog for a week. On short notice, I needed to find a place that could do the boardatella and Parvo without draining my wallet (moving is expensive!) I found this clinic online, and headed over. You cant make an appointment over the phone (the one drawback), but they will tell you when to come back that day. My pup and I went out to lunch, then came back and were seen right on time. The vet was super nice, the rest of the staff was super nice, and Maya pup loved them all. Parking is tight, but the care and prices make it worth it!

i went on a saturday morning to ask about wellness shots, never was i told there was a cut-off time. i went all the wasy back to pflugerville to bathe my puppy and get him ready, my husband left work a little early to take my pup to the vet and when we got there they were no longer taking appts! i was told to come back the next day (sunday) and they opened at 12, i got there at 12:20 and they had cut off for injections that day as well!!! 20 mins later come on!!! if you go please show up at least an hour in advance or youll end up going home!!! other than that they are ok the receptionist is very nice and the vet is very sweet!

These people will care about your pet. They do a lot of animal rescue work, too. If you need an affordable place to get vaccines or spay/neuter, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Just make sure to get there early on the your appointment day, as soon as they open if you can. They are always crowded. But, they are super nice people and they will take care of your pets and treat them right and you dont have to worry about them trying to steal from you like a lot of vets. I only wish they had a larger facility and were able to do more than just basic wellness stuff.

Kudos! Regarding my 10 1/2 year old Beagle-Terrier service dog, ATA recently examined, did blood testing, took xrays, cleaned teeth, and pulled three teeth. After three days of uncomfortable recovery (which was expected to be 10 days long; I was able to stop his meds much sooner), he has increasingly returned to acting like a puppy! He is an estimated 50% more active and happy compared to before the surgery. His teeth are substantially cleaner and whiter. He will probably live a lot longer and avert a lot of otherwise inevitable dental pain and suffering.

I had an excellent experience at Animal Trustees of Austin. I needed to get my dog spayed shortly after I moved to Austin; I was short on cash so I turned to Animal Trustees. Although I was a little concerned when I drove up to the building (the exterior isnt in the greatest condition), as soon as I walked in, toured the facility and received excellent treatment from the staff, I felt 100% comfortable. The surgery went well and my little pup came home with everything she needed for recovery and then some. I highly recommend Animal Trustees!
