My daughter needed her molar tooth to be extracted. They didnt ask her to open her mouth for visual exam. They started from X-ray. I did not want to do X-ray. The case was simple enough. Initially, I was told to sign a statement that I deny X-ray. They made us leave the medical office. Instead of arranging such a statement, the ladies at the reception desk gave me a note (attached): "X-ray is required by insurance". When I call my insurance, the operator said it was up to me. I let the receptionists listen to the insurance company representative. After that, the clinic changed its explanation, stating that it was the clinic policy. I requested them to provide me an evidence of the policy. Instead of doing that, a rude guy, by name Minh, popped up and wanted to call the police. I did not leave, insisting for them to give me a written statement. Then the owner, female, showed up. She said they cannot provide any written statement and what she will not let my daughter to be treated in her clinic anymore, and if I did not leave immediately, they call the police. And they actually called!

Nothing but negative things to say. Ive had no problems with my teeth. I went there, got xrays and 8 feelings needed to be replaced. Completely understandable as the original ones were put in 15+ years ago. Unfortunately now I have nothing but pain in my mouth even months later. :/ At one of my visits the dentist and assistant were b.s.-ing and talking about going out the prior week-end (which I could care less about) but they were also talking and laughing about fat women that workout. Just extremely unprofessional. At my last visit the dentist was seriously getting annoyed with me because I had to swallow a couple times because the tools were not in my mouth correctly. I will be looking for a new dentist.

Horrible! This was my second visit, not once did any medical professional introduce themselves or explain any procedure before starting. I had to ask several times, "what are you doing?"! At the end of my visit I was asked "would you like to schedule a root canal today?" With no explaination! I asked several times to avoid doing X-rays during this visit due to my pregnancy, the doctor refused and argued with me.. Told me it would not affect my pregnancy. A clerk came into my room during my exam and asked for my credit card. Completely unprofessional. Avoid.

So we specifically avoid Flouride in our toothpaste for the baby. This dentistry helped our son brush and swallow Flouride for his very first visit. It was specifically asked if the toothpaste was baby toothpaste and they said YES. Not until we are home did we realize its kids with Flouride. Absolutely livid right now!! Google forced me to give this place 1 star, get it right Google, some businesses dont even deserve a single star!

I went to the office last week for a first time since I moved from Houston, TX. I had a lot of bad experiences with dentists for many years. At Avalon Dental, the office staffs are friendly and caring. They help me to set up a treatment plan so I can gradually fix my teeth (I dont have dental insurance, by the way). I was so satisfied with the impeccable service that doctor Van and her staffs gave me.

I scheduled an appointment over a month ago and expressed that I needed to have work done before the end of the year (before FSA funds were lost). I was told I had an appointment at 9:30 am on 12/30. I called today to confirm but apparently the person I had spoken with to set up the appointment was unprofessional and did not actually schedule me. Very rude! Never did really like them.

Dr. Natalie Van is a nice person but I have to say that I dont have much confidence in the professionalism of the practice. The dental hygienists and dentist never take the time to explain the procedures. They offer braces but dont do it here even though the price may be tempting, go to an actual orthodontist. The staff and dentist may be great people but I do not recommend this place.

Unbelievable. My daughters molar split in half in the middle of the night and was bleeding. I have taken my entire family here for at least 5 years and the receptionist could not get her in for an emergency. I wonder if the dentists (who are remarkable) know that emergencies are dealt with by saying I understand, we are too busy, and you can take your records somewhere else. Avoid.

I called and asked if they took patients without appointment, the lady on the phone said yes. I went to the Rouse location and I they told me they dont take walk ins after 1pm. The attitude was horrible, a young girl nodding her head and asking me where did I call, and when did I call. Never asked me what my problem was, or if I was in pain. Would not recommend this place.

I enjoyed my experience at Avalon. I did have to schedule an appointment as most dental groups do not do emergency procedures in orlando. (And those that do charge extraordinarily, i called everywhere) The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Followed the doctors trained advice, and had no issues. Two extracts and root cannal.
